WWE Reaction To Raw Rating; SD Changes Coming

– As an update to our report from earlier this week, there was an almost immediate reaction within WWE over Raw’s 2.8 rating from this week. Some think with Chicago Bears vs. Green Bay Packers game next week, and with Raw being taped, the rating could be the same or even worse. They cut commercial spots to heavily promote Orton vs. Jericho for next week’s show.
– Kane, Kofi Kingston & other WWE stars will be doing a lot of media this week to begin promoting Smackdown’s debut on the SyFy network on October 1st. When the move is completed, there will be more attention put on the show creatively. This includes talent being switched on brands, or stars appearing on both shows. WWE is taking the tact that with Smackdown now being under NBC umbrella, it will be on the same level as Monday Night Raw.
