WWE Releases Several Wrestlers From NXT

WWE announced today that NXT stars Garrett Dylan (Jody Kristofferson, son of actor Kris Kristofferson ), Travis Tyler, Mac Miles, Dani Jackson and Slate Randall.

Regarding Kristofferson, this is his second release from WWE. He was brought back earlier this year and has done some work as a Rosebud for Adam Rose.

Randall, real name Shaun Ricker, was signed last year after appearing as a cast member on the TNT competition reality series, The Hero, hosted by The Rock. He recently debuted an odd musical gimmick at a NXT live event.

Miles is William McNamee, an athlete from Colorado who WWE signed in the fall following an impressive tryout—the same tryout Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards participated in. He made his WWE NXT debut at the July 17th tapings teaming with Steve Cutler and losing to The Ascension.

Jackson, a product of Ohio Valley Wrestling, was signed a few months ago following a tryout at the WWE Performance Center in December. She never made it to television and had not wrestled at live events.
