WWE Reportedly Bringing Back WCW PPV, Does Vince McMahon See TNA As Competition?, More

- With the 2014 WWE pay-per-view dates recently being released, it appears WWE will be dropping either Battleground or Hell In a Cell in 2014. They will still run 13 pay-per-views however they are going to add a second pay-per-view to June, bringing back The Bash at The Beach. There is also talk that next year’s October pay-per-view may feature a War Games match, something fans have been wanting for a long time. The only potential hang-up is that Survivor Series usually features four-on-four matches and it would be odd to do a four-on-four in October and in November.

– If you’re wondering about all the recent incidents where it appears TNA will do something on their TV program and then WWE will immediately turn around and do the same thing on their program the next week, it’s not a coincidence. As much as Vince McMahon claims he doesn’t think anything about TNA and doesn’t consider them competition, that’s not the case at all, and creative on both sides watch the other side’s programming.

Funny. I see TNA copying WWE recently, not vice versa.

    • ChrisUK92

what u talking about, as and 8s is clearly original and is in no way what so ever a copy of NWO, Evolution, The Nexus, The Spirit Squad, The Alliance, The Four Horseman or The Shield

  • Steve

    Ditto. TNA copies WWE.

  • Christopher Clinton

WWE always copies the NWA ECW AWA and WCW

    • ChrisUK92

that’s because they own it all u idiot

      • Christopher Clinton

They didn’t own it in back then dumbass don’t question me if don’t know your history. Every angle back then they stolen it from another company.

        • Gary

chrisUK92 christopher is right they never did own them jim crockett owned NWA

        • ChrisUK92

name 5 things they “copied” when wwe didn’t used to own them then. And don’t call someone a dumbass if grammar is absent from your insult

          • Christopher Clinton

            1. Larry Zbyszko tries to buy the awa title from Nick Bockwinkel later in WWE dibaise tries to buy the title from Hogan. 2. Norman Smiley Chavo Guerrero in 1998 had a fued over a wooden horse named pepe then in 2001 wwf put Raven and Perry Saturn in a fued over a wooden mop. 3. The first big event Starrcade 83 then here comes wwf with wrestlemania 1985. 4. The entire WWF attitude was Vince Russo stealing paul heyman ecw storylines. 5.1989 the late beautiful woman tried used Rick Steiner to to sign the Steiners brothers and whenever his brother Scott talked rick out of it she brought in Doom then sunny tried to do the exact same thing with Ahmed Johnson and when he turn her down she brought in former wcw champion Ron Simmons. There you go dumbass

          • ChrisUK92

ok 1 and 2 the copied, but 3 was a copy it was there own highly successful ppv to try and match wcw ratings. 4 is complete bollocks and 5 isn’t the same thing. and once again you’re calling someone a dumbass without using proper grammar

This report is clearly backwards, lol. It’s TNA that is re-using the WWE’s playbook. From 2 years ago up until even as recent as one week. They don’t know originality.

    • Christopher Clinton

ROH created summer of punk but I get your point

      • ShadowBroker

That’s kinda far back though :) I mean in general what’s going on now with Dixie taking the Stephanie roll in the HHH/Steph Authority. Gail and whatever her name is as a obvious AJ/Tamina attempt. Various other stuff but those are the best that come to mind right now.
