We’re counting down to the Royal Rumble: a variation of the traditional Battle Royal match, with a total of 30 competitors. Two WWE Superstars start in the ring, every 90 seconds thereafter another Superstar enters. A Superstar is eliminated when they’re thrown over the top rope and both feet touch the floor. The last remaining Superstar is guaranteed a championship opportunity at WrestleMania versus the current WWE World Heavyweight Champion.
WWE Superstar: Roman Reigns
Height: 6′ 3”
Weight: 265 lbs.
From: Pensacola, FL
Championships Reigns: WWE Tag Team Champion
WWE fans have already witnessed Roman Reigns pull off astonishing feats since debuting as one-third of rogue tandem The Shield, including powerbombing the likes of Undertaker, Big Show, and numerous others with devastating force. Teamed with Seth Rollins, the pair won and dominated the WWE Tag Team titles. All this is but a precursor. Mark these words: Reigns will have a breakout showing in the Royal Rumble match.
Should the Samoan strongman come away the victor, the WWE World Heavyweight Champion would be in serious trouble at WrestleMania XXX. Reigns, with his no-nonsense, grid-iron-inspired full-on attack, would not relent until his opponent stays down for a 3-count. In the Rumble though, all entrants should be on notice, this especially includes Rollins and Dean Ambrose.
