WWE Royal Rumble 2014 Countdown: What If The Big Show Won?
We’re counting down to the Royal Rumble: a variation of the traditional Battle Royal match, with a total of 30 competitors. Two WWE Superstars start in the ring, every 90 seconds thereafter another Superstar enters. A Superstar is eliminated when they’re thrown over the top rope and both feet touch the floor. The last remaining Superstar is guaranteed a championship opportunity at WrestleMania versus the current WWE World Heavyweight Champion.
WWE Superstar: Big Show
Weight: 425 lbs.
From: Tampa, FL
Championships Reigns: WWE Champion (x2), World Heavyweight Champion (x2), World Tag Team Champion (x5), WWE Tag Team Champion (x3), Intercontinental Champion, United States Champion, ECW Champion, WCW World Heavyweight Champion (x2)
One of the most decorated and dominant figures in the history of sports entertainment, Big Show stands literally and figuratively high above his grappling peers. A mammoth man with an array of ways to finish off opponents, it may be baffling why this giant has yet to win a Royal Rumble match. He’s practically built for it!
Should he go on to win the annual 30-man over-the-top-rope spectacular, Big Show could finally exact revenge on The Authority – Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. The onscreen/off screen husband and wife have tormented, belittled, and cheated Show in more ways than he and his fans would care to tally. Him heading to WrestleMania XXX the #1 contender for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship could be the right equation for their inevitable downfall.
