2 years in a row, the Royal Rumble winner got booed out of the building. Stupid, just stupid.

    • Cage

I think it was deliberate. just to mess with IWC, Even if plan is to turn Reigns heel, there are other ways to do it. The finish sucked as well, not even The Rock could save it.

      • Arvind

What was more sad was that the previous match had the IWC’s number 1 wrestler John Cena in it but they all still gave a standing ovation after the match because it was well booked and all three guys (along with JJ and Paul) performed extremely well. Then they gave us the stupid Big Show and Kane eliminations. The match I expected nothing out of, I got a match of the year candidate. The match I expected some magic, well, the Philly crowd let the WWE know what I thought of that match.

        • Cage

Yep and they did not even make Reigns look strong while he won. Unless plan is to turn Lesnar turn face and Reigns heel, which I don’t unnderstand why the fuck would they do that, it makes no sense.

  • angelicxdevil

Okay I just saw what happened……You know what guys, why boo on Reigns? He did not eliminated Daniel Bryan, Bray Wyatt did fair and square! You IWCs make me sick, so what Reigns won? Bryan will get his chance to win next year or become the new WWE world heavyweight championship later this year. You guys just don’t want to accept that your favorite will win just like that, I mean give Bryan a break! He JUST came back from a neck surgery, do you all want him to be reinjured again!? Geez! I’m sorry, I just needed to vent off of why WWE/IWC fans pisses me off every time I try to watch the shows. All because of the damn chants! This is what WWE planned to do with Reigns, not you guys!

    • why2jay

It’s not about It being DB winning its the fact WWE is pushing someone that the fans don’t want down their throats. The way the commentators tried to brush off the boo’s was shocking.

      • angelicxdevil

Still, WWE planned this and we ALL know Reigns wins it. Instead, you get pissed off with knowing that. This is why I stopped watching WWE now and read results/spoilers on here to found out what’s going on. I, for one, am happy that Reigns won.

        • why2jay

Nah I’m not pissed off. The end of the day it’s all just a fun show to me. I just think that RR winning the rumble was predictable and not what a lot of fans wanted. reigns just isn’t ready to carry the company the way someone like Cena or Orton can. He deserves a title run but in time.

          • angelicxdevil

    • Yusei Asakura

The sole reaction from the IWC and the WWE fans that boo’d made me proud that No other Legends came out after that nor NXT guys because they surely would’ve been treated by crap by the Fans Or and kinda glad no ECW guys came out either would’ve really hated to seen how they were treated by fans for something None of them had control over

Upside I hope DB wins the Belt before MITB so Seth can Cash it in and Crush the IWC’s tears with a huge curbstomp

    • Necro

No one likes fucking Reigns, you saw the crowd. When Cesaro came out, cheers, when Ambrose came out, cheers. When Ziggler came out, cheers. If any of those 3 won, they’d be happy despite Bryan being eliminated the way that he was. But nope, give it to the guy NO ONE wants.

    • pancho

Dude, it was horrible booking. Gimme a break. iWC didnt booooooo them out of the building. The fans in attendance did.

  • Ice Trey

Reigns won but once Daniel Bryan was eliminated, the crowd just shit on the whole match. It came down to rusev and reigns and the whole arena chanted “we want rusev”

    • RReigns15 #OneVsALL

      • Ice Trey

    • Arvind

They revived when Ziggler came out and eliminated Bad News and Cesaro. The Big Show-Kane bs was too much. The KO punch is a stupid finisher. They made Kane and Big Show look like straight up jobbers against Lesnar but expect us to believe they can take down the entire rumble by themselves.

I really don’t see how anyone, especially the WWE, would expect a different response from the crowd then what they got.

I’m fine with Bryan not winning even though he’s my favorite to watch, but I still maintain that Reigns just isn’t ready for the main event scene yet. I probably would have gone for Ambrose or Ziggler personally, but that doesn’t really matter.

This is BULLSHIT. FUCK ROMAN REIGNS. FUCK THE FUCKING IDIOTS RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS OUTCOME. FUCK THIS BULLSHIT.

  • Logan

I’m not an Internet Wrestling Hater. I’m not the guy who complains about every little thing WWE does. I’m just a Wrestling fan. A die hard Wrestling fan. I’m loyal to the WWE as I always have been. I’ve stuck by them through thick and thin but I can now honestly say that this Royal Rumble was the worst thing I have ever had to sit through as a True WWE fan.

Daniel Bryan’s elimination sucked the life out of me. Out of the fans at home. Out of the people in the arena. Everyone. I didn’t expect him to win. But I never expected him to be eliminated that way. I never expected the WWE to make the same mistake two years in a row. Looking back, I should have expected it but I didn’t. And don’t give me that “anything can happen in the WWE” BS as a reason why Bryan was eliminated so early. That wasn’t the way to go.

Just as I thought the night could be saved by Dolph Ziggler, Dean Ambrose, or Bray Wyatt, I watched as all three of them were dropped LIFELESSLY over the top rope in the most anti-climatic fashion. Big Show and Kane have paid their dues to Wrestling but have no business ending one of the biggest shows of the year as part of the final three. I get the premise: Roman Reigns conquers the Authority. But give me a break. Could it have been any more obvious that Reigns was going to win?

I just don’t get it. Am I a genius? Are wrestling fans on this site and countless others geniuses? Why is it that we can book a wrestling show better than the Professional Writers in a multi-million dollar company? Would it have been so hard to have Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns as the final two men in the ring? That seems like common sense to me. I really don’t understand. If you put Ambrose, Reigns, Bryan, Wyatt, Ziggler, Rusev, etc in the ring as the final participants then I truthfully would have second guessed who the winner would be. But apparently nobody in WWE Creative thought of this.

You can blame two wrestlers for a bad match. Maybe there’s no chemistry between them or they messed up some spots. But in a match like the Royal Rumble, I put the blame on WWE Creative. It’s less of an orchestrated Wrestling match. There’s more emphasis on what Superstars are over, when they should enter the match, who they should be eliminated by, and who should win it all. The Rumble sets the tone for Wrestlemania. But other then Reigns, I see no creative direction for any superstar on the roster. I don’t understand how they could’ve been happy with this booking. Did they really think the fans would get behind this?

There’s no excuse for this. None at all. Sorry for the long rant but this is how I’m feeling at the moment. So disappointed and so ashamed to be a Wrestling fan right now.

    • Yusei Asakura

I’ll say it now 1. DB coming back this early was by chance follow the reports and read up on it had they known he was coming back I’m pretty damn sure they would’ve pulled a Cena surprise return and had him win just to shut the fans up. Given the story about “Who” should win the rumble apparently either the Rock must’ve been pushing for him or he must’ve actually busted his ass to earn the spot because honestly I was expecting Bray after how strong he looked.

You also have to look at the scenarios DB vs Brock would’ve been nice honestly it would’ve ..but after watching Seth Rollins bust his ass in that match I’m leaned more towards Roman winning the RR and possibly getting the Belt ..Because then Seth could cash in on Roman And It’d be the start of the feud that should’ve been settled when the shield split Roman vs Seth

But It’s not DBry so I’m pretty sure 60% of the folks won’t bother with it.

      • Logan

Don’t get me wrong I’m all for Reigns winning the Rumble. It’s just the way it happened that drives me nuts. I’m still waiting for the Seth Rollins-Roman Reigns feud and I think it’ll be great.

It’s a shame that Reigns’ win is tainted by a chorus of boos. But can you blame the fans? It was a terribly booked main event in my opinion at least.

        • Yusei Asakura

rather it was booked terribly or not when you have people who leak stuff you either have to go with it and not give a damn who rages about it or change it and risk someone getting pissed off.

I think if no wrestler of “importance” quits tomorrow We can assume everyone was fine with the booking that works for them. imo HHH finally did something smart and that was not put anyone from NXT in the rumble as it seems even Bo Dallas was spared of this cruel fate of boos

Must say someone cares about them ..brother or not

    • Lakereric

      Very well said

No need for the hostility my dude. Just sharing my opinion.

But to answer your question, it’s much more convenient for me to post on the best Pro Wrestling website that is PWMania then to have a minimum of five years of TV/Film writing and production experience and a BA/BS in Film, TV, Drama, Media Studies, Communications to write for the WWE. Wish it was that easy though!

        • cody t

No not for wwe. If you’re better. Go make your own promotion. It would be well worth the time it takes since you would be a billionaire and all. No hostility, but the whining from the fans gets seriously old.

    • LissaG

I think you sort of nailed why the creative team cannot write a better product. Because they are NOT true fans. They aren’t passionate about it like we are. Hire true fans, and watch everything…EVERYTHING…improve. Just look at NXT. It is booked by a life-long wrestling fan…and that is why it is a superior product, honestly. I am with you, I have been a life-long fan….but tonight, I was beyond disappointed.
      You didn’t rant…it was very well said…and I couldn’t agree more.

I was there it was so much fun booing. I actually had a great time. Title match was sweet. We went wild for Sandow. And we booed the hell out of reigns and Bryans elimination. And afterwards I got stuck in traffic leaving the arena. I got stuck next to Paige And Alicia fox. We actually high fived it was a cool night. Horrible rumble but great to be there.

    • tkthetank

This royal rumble was a disaster. You’ve said everything that was on my mind. Dbry getting eliminated like that is the new “fingerpoke of doom”

      Im so disappointed.

    • Robert B

You said it, I’ve been saying the booking had been terrible. I guess I’m one of the few that thought the championship match ending sucked. Cena and rollins carried the match. Again it showed Brock can only power bomb people and can’t wrestle a 15 to 30 minute match. Granted he is no Brett hart and shawn Michaels but even Hogan vs warrior was over 22 minutes. Rollins did some nice stuff and would be nice for them to push him more. I could see great matches from Db and ambrose against Rollins add the main heel. Somehow the wwe will find a way to mess it all up.
As for rumble, I love it for predictability. This year was one the worse. When it was down to 5 or even 7 you new it was reigns winning. Rock getting booed WAS kinda funny. Twitter blew up with all the negativity. AGAIN WWE DOESN’T CARE. They didn’t listen to the universe. THEY DIDN’T DO WHAT IS BEST FOR BUSINESS.

    • Cody Cosmos

I honesty believe It’s Vinnie Mac’s fault. Everything especially creative wise has to go through him for his approval! And while I believe Reigns can possibly pull this off. WWE did him the worst possible disservice imaginable tonight. It’s even more worse that the creative team or “Vinnie” knew how much last year’s rumble was a complete debacle. And STILL went with this harebrained idea. It just shows how blissfully unaware they are!

    • jmull

Totally agree. A big part of the problem is that the Authority think anything having to do with them is a big draw — even if its Kane and Big Show. Even the Rock couldn’t save Reigns from being shit on by the fans, and that says alot.

I think people should save their energy and stop banging the Daniel Bryan drum. It’s a battle of spite. The fans cheer for Bryan in spite of WWE, and WWE won’t push him in spite of the fans. Swings and roundabouts. There will come a time when everyone will have to accept that it probably aint gonna happen and move on.

  • Yusei Asakura

That Royal Rumble was disgusting especially the crowd! I paid 9.99 for the first time for that! Booing everyone after Bryan was eliminated which looked like he jumped off the apron anyway, heavily booing down Reigns, WTF man!! Can’t believe I had to sit through that as a Wrestling fan, that crowd let me speechless let alone the whole match and PPV and now I’m just pissed off. That crowd has now given a reason for Reigns to turn Heel. Don’t be surprised if they magically start cheering for him again and he turns on everyone.

What’s with the booing of The New Day as well?
    -_-

    • LissaG

The moment Bryan was eliminated the crowd turned on pretty much everyone. Lots of underserving people got turned into scapegoats because WWE (McMahon) is an idiot.
I feel bad for Reigns, and honestly everyone who was eliminated after Bryan. It wasn’t their fault…they don’t decide the outcome….toss the hate at Vinny Mac. I would very much like to high-five his face….with a brick.

      • RReigns15 #OneVsALL

Kofi Kingston’s entrance and his body language and expression said it all when he came out. He couldn’t believe that be was actually getting booed at.
Screw Vince McMahon but I’m happy for Reigns though.

    • Yusei Asakura

Fans becoming a bunch of spoiled brats

I swear if DB ever wins the belt before MITB I hope Seth cashes in on him I really do because Let’s face it DB’s not exactly one of the “Young” guys if you think about it

    • Necro

They made the Rumble ending the most predictable shit I’ve ever seen. That’s why. Almost identical to that of Batista, only way less hyped.

      • RReigns15 #OneVsALL

Yeah but everyone decides to boo as if Reigns was the one who eliminated Bryan! The guy wasn’t even in he ring yet when Bryan got eliminated and I will admit Bryan got eliminated too early.

        • Necro

Read my big comment somewhere above lol, they didn’t necessarily boo Reigns, they boo’d the booking. Reigns is now a heel against Lesnar because creative couldn’t think of a good way to eliminate fan favorites.

          • RReigns15 #OneVsALL

Reigns is a Heel? Really or was it just the reaction to the crowd booing him rather than him getting help from The Rock ?

          • Necro

When the rock came out and they still boo’d, they fucked up.

          • RReigns15 #OneVsALL

They only booed because of Bryan’s early elimination which has nothing to do with Reigns. Reigns now has a reason to turn heel and I won’t be surprised if it happens on Raw.

          • Necro

stupid elimination, stupid booking, realize how they boo’d much louder when Reigns came out, even moreso than when Kofi did.

          • RReigns15 #OneVsALL

Yeah exactly it’s a joke, Kofi’s reaction when he came out says it all!

          • Cage

I came off as a dick responding to you. My apologies! There’s a difference between a guy turning heel cause creatively it makes sense and a guy turning heel because fans do not want him in main event at least not that soon.

          • RReigns15 #OneVsALL

Yeah exactly. What a joke. Kofi’s reaction said it all!

          • Cage

They didn’t just blew up once, countless number of times.I wasn’t even rooting for Bryan to win, and why the fuck won’t the crowd boo, crowd recovered partially when sandow shows up, by the time ziggler, Ambrose show up, they kind of got revived. And then big show Kane literally bury everyone in the ring. Even reigns didn’t look strong, and rusev of all people got cheered. Name one guy who got into wrestlemania main event after just one ppv feud when even CM Punk couldn’t.
And yes Bryan should have been in final six at least rather than Kane and big show. But at least Bryan was eliminated and made to look strong, similar to hbk in 2010, ziggler/Ambrose were just carried over and thrown down. And Kane big show were the same set of guys whom lesnar single handedly beat down. This isn’t fucking 2005!

Fans will cheer for whomever they want.
And you’re quick to defend reigns whom I don’t even dislike, and you don’t want anyone to talk trash about him, yet you mock Cena even if he has a good match. And once again I’m not a big Cena fan.

          • RReigns15 #OneVsALL

Well sorry for mocking Superman and defending someone who’s get TOLD what to do by idiots!

          • Cage

I think people are not blaming reigns but wwe here. And this is what I feared, it would backfire. Sheamus was getting ready as babyface but wasn’t fully ready he got his 2012 push and it backfired eventually. And problem I’ve is, you bash Cena even when he isn’t at fault. Cena should be used to elevate young talent over which he is, should he put people over more often, yep he should! It’s funny people were critiquing wwe for Cena not putting over Wyatt, and when y2j returned, everyone expected Wyatt to go over, but y2j went over.
And once again I’m making it clear I’m not a Cena fan but feud with Cena has elevated Rollins to next level. Which means Cena being around serves it purpose.

          • RReigns15 #OneVsALL

Cena should be turn Heel though which is what I hate most about his stupid Superman Face role. Thats why I hate Cena, he’s too damn corny. His “gimmick” or “character” sucks but I’m sure thats just him in real life anyway.

          • Cage

Yep. If Hogan can turn heel then so should Cena. Heck if not a heel turn then at least an alteration in gimmick. However I respect the guy. He has been doing this for 12 yrs. So many guys could not handle the hectic schedule, Cena does it like a machine. And he can elevate talent if put against right opponent.

          • RReigns15 #OneVsALL

            Hmm

          • Cage

Looking at backstage promo between reigns and rock, it have a heelish vibe to me. I hope wwe was smart enough to deliberately turn reigns heel and take the risk of eliminating ziggler, Ambrose. Reigns did not even win in a convincing face fashion. Also lesnar is seemingly turning face, so perhaps reigns heel turn is indeed in the works.
I hope reigns proves us all wrong and the heel turn does wonders for him like it did for The Rock back in 97 & recently for Rollins.
            Maybe Rollins turns face eventually.

          • RReigns15 #OneVsALL

Would like to see both Rock and Reigns turn heel and after everything that has gone on since last night leading to no Raw for tonight, it would be fitting!

          • Cage

Yeah but I don’t know if rock is returning on regular basis or it could be a one time heel run like Shawn Michaels had in 2013

          • RReigns15 #OneVsALL

            Yeah I think it’s that

          • RReigns15 #OneVsALL

Would like to see both Reigns and Rock turn heel and after everything that has happened since last night and now no Raw for tonight, it would be fitting!
Seeing 2003 Heel Rock would be better than seeing 1997 Heel Rock though.

          • Grant Ryan Lenton

They knew the fans wouldn’t like the finish, so they used The Rock as a way to get the fans back on side. Cheap really.

          • RReigns15 #OneVsALL

            Yeah I noticed that too.

          • RReigns15 #OneVsALL

Yeah I noticed that too. They shouldn’t of had to really if it weren’t for the IWC..

          • ScrappyV1

Didn’t work at all though. Came off sad really. Rock trying to cut a Promo for Reigns was even worse.

Booing Reigns has nothing to do with Reigns, just as much as cheering for Bryan has nothing to do with Bryan. It’s all about aiming spite toward WWE. We’ll boo who you push, and we’ll cheer who you don’t.

  • Nickfab88

That sucked DB should have won! Reigns is not ready but like always they force shit down the fans throats and they show that they don’t care with the fans want. I hope the fans give him the batista treatment and hope they boycott cause i know i am fuk WWE!

    • LissaG

It’s not Reigns fault though….don’t make him pay for WWE fucking up like that. It is like what the crowd did to poor Rey Mysterio last year. He got booed (first time in his long career) for something he had no control over. Now Reigns is in that same spot. I feel bad for him.

    • Yusei Asakura

Glad you won’t be watching then Can’t wait until DB gets hurt again trying to please the fans and has to retire then We’ll have cheap front row seats to all the events . I mean it’s not like DB’s young and all that. but Fans reactions to things like this makes me kinda glad they didn’t NXT guys in because the fans would’ve obviously thrown them under the bus because WAHH WAHH DB got thrown out

  • Nimish Nag

    Seth Rollins stole the show.

  • Necro

Let’s make this simple. Tag Team title match was ok but they really need to make Mizdow go over Miz already. Ascension was stupid. Divas match was DISAPPOINTING AS HELL. Way to give Paige a good match guys! Triple threat was match of the year by far. I was shocked in a great way, perfect match with an amazing ending.
Now the Royal Rumble match, was the worst one I’ve ever seen. I’ve never been more pissed at a rumble match than this one. Stupid way to treat the Wyatt family, where it seems Harper AND Rowan are stuck in the bottom now. DDP and Bubba Ray were great but the Boogeyman was stupid. So many wasted spots like Titus O’Neil and Adam Rose. To make Daniel Bryan get eliminated like that so early is shocking and pisses me off. The fact Big Show and Kane are in the last set of people to enter AGAIN keeps pissing me off, like THEY’LL NEVER WIN STOP PUTTING THEM IN THE END. Wyatt started off perfectly, but then again lost like nothing. When it was the final four, I would’ve been OK with Reigns vs Ambrose to take it home and duel it out. But they made it the MOST OBVIOUS ENDING EVER. IT PISSED ME OFF. Then with Rusev, why keep someone who’s that big of a “threat” and has been built up for months, lose in a matter of seconds?!? Stupid ending to what could have been an amazing rumble. OH ZIGGLER, I won’t even comment on that….AH. No Orton which upset me too, wonder what he does on Monday if anything at all. Great Triple Threat, shit Rumble Match….*sigh*

  • Jarryd

What’s the fuss about? We’ve all know for a while now that powderpuff Reigns would be winning the Rumble in 2015.

Boo hoo wah wah bryan didn’t win the rumble. I get so pissed when the wwe doesn’t give me what I want when I want it. Dude is still a huge injury risk. You can’t give e that guy everything again. He needs to be given time to make sure he is ok. Reigns is 100 percent no doubt. The others like Wyatt and ambrose don’t make sense for Brock. It had to be reigns. Get over it.

    • pancho

Said the one guy that liked the match.

      • cody t

Meh it was ok. But I’m not going whine bc it didn’t go the way I wanted.

  • ThatGuy

Since Bryan didn’t win the RR (and that’s fine) and he won’t be facing (the prone to injuring opponents) Lesnar, then I’m going to put out my Dream Match scenario (which I know will never ever happen).

Bryan comes out at some point before Wrestlemania to talk, Authority do the normal interrupt, gloating and rubbing in the fact that since he lost the RR he can choose his opponent(s), because it won’t matter. Weeks draw on and Bryan seems to have disregarded anyone on the Authority. Eventually we learn he’s chosen two people from the NXT. Hideo Itami and Finn Balor.

Triple Threat Match: Bryan v Itami (KENTA) v Balor (Devitt). They put on an amazing show say upper mid card. Maybe even steal the show.

If only, if only. Wishing can be fun.

    • Yusei Asakura

Yeah but Itami and Devitt can’t win because DB HAS TO WIN HE MUST WIN HE HAS TO WIN OR ELSE WE BOO
so why punish them for the fans?

      • ThatGuy

Pretty much all major main show stars would win against NXT stars. That includes Cena, Bryan, Reigns, Rollins, Ambrose, Big Show and a few others. So. Yeah, they’ll lose, but they’d be in Wrestlemania and put on what would probably be one of the best matches of the night. That’s good for them.

As for the boos, I attribute that to a few things. One. They’re in Philly, Bryan’s home town and they’re quite loyal to him. Two. It was weak how they eliminated him. I feel his elimination could have been handled better. Three. Everyone figured Reigns would win. The lack of surprise just makes the RR boring. Some fans were rooting for Rusev, indicating they wanted someone other than the obvious.

None of that makes Booing the other stars an Ok thing. However, the WWE had to expect this would happen. They’ve been dealing with crowds for a long time. Their tactic tonight seemed to be, “Hope that by eliminating Bryan early, the crowd will get over it by the end.” It just didn’t work.

Lastly. While the above is my dream match, I expect the WWE will make the match Bryan v Wyatt. Wyatt eliminated Bryan in the match, and they have a past feud to work off of. Wyatt being the heel he is, would love to get all the boos from the crowd.

Sorry for the long reply haha.

  • Kifo Kongstin

Are Roman Reigns and the Rock turning heel now?

  • pancho

Anyone catch that train wreck of a promo by Rock and Reigns on the aftershow? The Rock kept babbling on to the interviewer about laughing and family. Train wreck.

  • anyonebutyou

BULL SH*T – RR sucks worse than Cena

  • Mikael

Wha a horrible Rumble match. It is WWE’s fault though. Why eliminanate Bryan, the most popular superstar on your roster,so early in the match in favor of Vince’s boyfriend,Roman Reigns?

  • RReigns15 #OneVsALL

A heavily pissed off fan who’s also pissed off with the way Titus O’Neil is being treated. What the hell was that???!!! Just about scrapped off from avoiding beating Santino’s record! -____-

  • Lois Bounds Cole

There’s a reason I don’t watch or give WWE a dime. I read Roman Reigns and Brock Lesner were going to win Royal Rumble to set up Wrestlemania, FOUR MONTHS ago! That’s why Lesner is getting away with not defending the belt, because Reigns has been out hurt. And their roster is pathetically weak when ya gotta pull in retirees for such a big match, can’t even manage a 30-man STRONG roster. PLEASE! I’ve been a wrestling fan for as long as I can remember, but the WWE has just gotten weak, it’s all talk, which is why it’s 3 hours long. They won’t go head to head with impact, because they can’t.

  • TwistyTheClown

Why all the hate for reigns I don’t get it

    • Kifo Kongstin

Cuz WWE Universe wanted Daniel Bryan to win.

  • pancho

Terrible booking. Too predictable. I dont think it started off as boos and hate for Reigns. But it’s probably gonna go thst way now. Shows you the importance of booking.

    • pancho

Now, because you booked it wrong. The guy you want as your top dog is gonna get booed out of the building night in and night out. Have Ziggler and Bryan at the end with Reigns and Rusev. Have Ziggler and DBry eliminate each other at the same time in a crazy spot. Reigns dumps Rusev at the end. Done.

  • sir sign

Sad to seen cena’s lost but it%s just good to seen rains victory on rumble

  • pancho

Anyone else notice the Deeeez Nutz sign in the crowd when Rock did the peoples elbow?

  • Jesse Reid

So that fucking WWE Championship was the match of the year, no doubt about it in my mind.

But… I wanna start by saying that I think the WWE knew that putting Reigns over in the Rumble would cause him to be booed out of the building. They brought in The Rock to shine up a shitty situation that they knew would be a shitty situation.

I, by no means, hate Reigns. But I just don’t see him as a WM main eventer, obviously like a lot of the WWE Universe. I really hate it for Reigns, but y’all thought people hate Cena? They’ll have to turn Reigns heel just like they did Batista last year. I figured they learned from their mistakes but I guess not. And before anyone says anything, I wasn’t pulling for Bryan either. Although I thought the way they had him eliminated was shitty, I kind of like it because it just builds Bray up even more. To me, that’s one of 2 positive things to come out of this Rumble match. Along with Bubba Ray returning. And that’s it IMO.

  • Jesse Reid

Another letdown is that I was so expecting Orton to return tonight. Wtf happened to that?

  • Kifo Kongstin

Daniel Bryan only lasted 8 minutes, 34 seconds in this year’s Royal Rumble. That is bull shit. He should have been one of the Final Four, if not the winner.

  • Prabhu Orton

Believe Roman or not. Chant for Cena or not. Brock Lesnar gives you the hell of a match even though he comes rarely. #BrockLesnar

  • sam

@wwe…iv got three words for ya…you fucked up!

  • timfish88

for some reason I had it in my head that The Undertaker would make a surprise return and win it to go on to face Lesnar, now that would have been awesome

  • Mehul Birla

Bray Wyatt’s victory would have been more intresting #FollowTheBuzzard

  • Majin Zava

Lamest Rumble ever. WWE spit so much in our faces tonight with the matches. Oh yes, lets keep lesnar as the champ…we see him maybe once a month…bullshit. New Age Outlaws losing? Bullshit. First PPV of the year…and I have a bad feeling this is an omen for the rest of the year.

  • Adam Heatherly

Im starting to think cena has been literally told he will never wear the belt again

  • Shawn Busuttil

Obviously the crowd booed because they were still sucking Daniel Bryan off. Face it, Bryan will never be the face of WWE. He can wrestle but that is not what WWE is about, that’s what ROH is about. WWE also has the entertainment element which means that you don’t necessarily have to have the skill-set of a champion but you DO have to look like one.

That said, the WWE has come full circle, and coincidentally – using the same pattern composed of different people. What do I mean by this? At Wrestlemania 21, John Cena marked the beginning of his reign by defeating the biggest heel stable (JBL, Orlando and the Basham Brothers at the time). John Cena will now slowly be stepping out of the spotlight and playing a role which is similar to Shawn Michaels’ towards his last few years. Reigns, will take the title of face (if he goes over) by defeating the biggest heel stable today, the Authority. Each face apparently has a 10 year life span. Cena was crowned at Wrestlemania 21, Reigns at 31.

  • Aaron

So Daniel didn’t win it sucks, but lets try not to whine like babies that he didn’t win. Look at last year, everyone went ape shit over roman reigns not winning and now everyone is whining that he won this year. People just need to just realize that they can’t always get what they want and quit throwing tantrums.

  • Jevonte Marquis Gore

    I ain’t even mad.

  • Kifo Kongstin

If Vince McMahon and corporate WWE gave the fans what they wanted every time, that means the faces would always win and the heels would always lose. That will never work. Many fans are pissed off, not because Daniel Bryan did not win the RR but because of the fact that he only lasted 8:34 in the match while other jobbers and jabronies lasted longer. WWE should have let him make it down to the final four at least. WWE will find a way to put Daniel Bryan in the main event at Wrestlemania just like they did last year, if he is 100% ready to compete again.
