WWE Scouting Olympic Talent, Match Set For Next Week’s SmackDown, CM Punk Tweets
- WWE officials and Mark Henry are not just in London to take the sights and sounds of the 2012 London Olympics, according to WWE announcer Jim Ross. Ross wrote in his latest blog that WWE is hoping to add to the roster. “WWE officials along with Mark Henry are in London at the Olympic Games doing some important due diligence for WWE Developmental. Stay tuned,” Ross wrote.
- SmackDown General Manager Booker T announced Cody Rhodes will face Sin Cara on next week’s episode of SmackDown.
- CM Punk for the first time in nearly two weeks posted his first messages on his Twitter account since turning heel on the 1,000th episode of RAW. There was nothing major, but he did mention that Dory Funk Jr. was at Friday night’s live event in Jacksonville, FL. Punk also said that last night’s crowd was “great.”
