WWE Sign Top Indy Star El Generico
According to sources, El Generico has signed with WWE.
Generico is a former two-time PWG World Champion and five-time World Tag Team Champion, twice with “Mr. Wrestling” Kevin Steen and once with Human Tornado, Quicksilver, and “Intrepid Traveler” Paul London. He has also held the ROH World Television Championship and World Tag Team Championship (with Steen), as well as the wXw Unified World Wrestling Championship. He is also a former KO-D Openweight Champion of the Japanese Dramatic Dream Team (DDT) promotion.
Generico has also won a number of tournaments, most notably PWG’s 2011 Battle of Los Angeles and 2010 Dynamite Duumvirate Tag Team Title Tournament (with London), making him the only winner of both annual events. He is also the only participant to consecutively appear in all eight BOLA tournaments.
