WWE Signs Former Champ’s Son, NXT Winner Competing In FCW
– WWE has signed Jesse White, son of three-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion Big Van Vader, to a developmental contract. It was speculated in recent weeks that White, who has competed in Japan, would be signed following a tryout at the organization’s developmental facility in Tampa, Florida.
– The two-hour documentary portion of WWE RAW: The Best of 2010 DVD begins airing on pay-per-view on June 6.
– Johnny Curtis has been largely competing in Florida Championship Wrestling since winning the fourth season of NXT on March 1. He lost to Husky Harris at last Thursday’s FCW taping.
– WWE developmental wrestler Bo Rotundo, son of WWE producer Mike Rotunda (a/k/a Irwin R. Schyster), now dons a masks in Florida Championship Wrestling under the name Mr. Florida.
