WWE Signs New Female Talent, Asuka Breaks Another Record, Dusty Rhodes Remembered

– NXT Women’s Champion Asuka has broken yet another record. Last month she surpassed Goldberg’s undefeated streak in WCW. Despite WCW claiming that the record was 173-0, the real number is 155-0. She has now surpassed CM Punk’s 434-day reign as WWE Champion. The next milestone would be surpassing New Day’s 483-day reign as Tag Team Champions. As of this writing, Asuka has held the championship for 437 days.

– Jessie Elaban has signed a developmental contract with WWE and will be reporting to the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida to begin her training this week. Squared Circle Sirens was the first to report the news. She had a tryout with the company in October of last year, which was the same tryout that led to the signings of Kimber Lee, Heidi Lovelace, and Julia Ho. She is a fitness and beach volleyball athlete as well as a yoga teacher.
