WWE SmackDown Results – June 6, 2013

Show kicks off with MizTV. The guests are Daniel Bryan, Randy Orton and Kane. Bryan is very unstable and going on about being the weak link. Orton and Kane try and reason with him but to little success. Miz makes a joke and Orton stands up for Bryan, saying his head isn’t in the right place. Bryan says he’s fine. Kane says he’s always stood up for Bryan. Kane leaves and Teddy Long comes out and makes Bryan/Orton vs Reigns/Rollins for the main event.

Match #1
Curtis Axel vs Chris Jericho

Lots of back and forth action and Jericho makes Axel look like he’s own his level. We return from the break to see Axel in control. Bulldog from Jericho as he goes for a Lionsault but Axel counters with his knees. Axel hits the neckbreaker for two. Jericho hits a crossbody off the ropes and goes for the Walls of Jericho. Jericho locks it in but CM Punk’s theme hits. Axel rolls up Jericho for the win, as CM Punk was not there.

Winner: Curtis Axel

Jericho flips out afterwards and Codebreakers Axel.

Match #2
Alberto Del Rio vs Heath Slater

This one never actually gets going as a 3 on 1 brawl erupts. Alberto eventually cleans house with a little help from Ricardo who dives onto 3MB. After the match Ziggler comes on the tron and says he’s cleared to compete.

Match #3
Kane vs Ryback

Ryback beats down Kane pretty hard in the early going. Press slam from Ryback looked very impressive. Kane gets his offense in with multiple clotheslines followed by the sidewalk slam and a DDT. Ryback grabs a table and sets it in the ring. Kane fights back but misses the flying clothesline and gets hit with a spinebuster. Ryback goes for a clothesline but Kane hits a chokeslam and Ryback barely kicks out. Kane sets up the table but Ryback pokes him in the eye and powerbombs him through it.

Winner via DQ: Kane

Sandow with another mental challenge in the ring. This time it’s chess against a computer. Sheamus comes out and says he can win in one move, and Brogue Kicks the computer. Sandow beats down Sheamus afterwards.

Match #4
Fandango vs Zack Ryder

Fandango starts off in control but Ryder fights back. Dropkick off the 2nd rope from Ryder and then the Broski Boot. Fandango counters the Rough Ryder and finishes Zack off with a diving leg drop.

Winner: Fandango

Kaitlyn and Natalya talking backstage about Kaitlyn’s secret admirer. They get a little chippy with each other and Kaitlyn kinda insults Natalya.

Main Event
Daniel Bryan & Randy Orton vs Roman Reigns & Seth Rollins

Bryan starts off on fire, beating down Rollins for a bit. Soon after, Reigns and Rollins make quick tags and beat down Bryan. Bryan manages to make the hot tag to Orton and Orton cleans house for a bit. After the break, The Shield are in control, beating down Orton. Orton manages to sneak over and tag Bryan, who lights it up again. Bryan with bunches of hard dropkicks and takes care of business. Bryan with a suicide dive. Diving headbutt to Rollins but Reigns breaks it up. Orton RKOs Reigns and then Bryan misses a dropkick that hits Orton. Bryan locks in the No Lock to Rollins but Ambrose breaks it up.

Winners by DQ: Bryan & Orton

As Bryan fights them off, he celebrates in the ring, only to be RKO’d by Orton. The show ends with Orton giving Bryan a cold stare.
