WWE Smackdown Results – May 17, 2013

Show starts off with Miz TV and Randy Orton is in the ring. Big Show makes his way out and they argue. We follow that with Swagger & Colter and then Del Rio making their way out. Now here comes Henry, followed by Sheamus. Brawl goes on in the cluttered ring and the good guys clean house. Teddy Long creates a six man tag main event, playa!

Match #1
The Usos vs Roman Reigns & Seth Rollins

Usos get a little bit of offense to start but The Shield are just too much. Jimmy takes out Rollins but as Jey turns around he’s met with a huge spear from Reigns.

Winners: The Shield

Post match they beat down The Usos until Kofi makes the save, wielding a chair.

Match #2
Prime Time Players vs Tons of Funk

Young works over Tensai in the early going. Titus comes in and goes for the 3-point tackle but hits the turnbuckle. Brodus makes the tag in and cleans house. T-Bone suplex and a diving splash in the corner to Young. Titus breaks up a pin but Tensai takes him out. Splash from Brodus & Tensai for the win.

Winners: Tons of Funk

Match #3
Chris Jericho vs Antonio Cesaro

Back and forth action until we return from the break with Cesaro locking in a headlock. Cesaro with some ground & pound. Jericho with a running enziguri! Jericho goes for a flying elbow but Cesaro catches him with the uppercut. Cesaro tries to throw Jericho but Jericho reverses and rolls Cesaro into the Walls of Jericho! Cesaro taps!

Winner: Chris Jericho

Summer Rae tries to distract Jericho while Fandango ambushes him but Jericho catches him. Fandango escapes and Jericho hits the Codebreaker on Cesaro.

Match #4
The Miz vs Damien Sandow

Sandow in control from the start. Boots in the corner and a food choke. Knees to the chest from Sandow. Elbow of Disdain from Sandow. Miz fights back and hits the big clothesline in the corner. Figure Four Leg Lock forces Sandow to tap.

Winner: The Miz

Match #5
Aksana vs Kaitlyn

Aksana with a big clothesline and she taunts Kaitlyn by putting her knee on her back. Bunch of chinlocks and chokes from Aksana and she also does that thing where she crawls around the ring. Aksana with a gutbuster looking move but Kaitlyn rolls out and hits the spear! Kaitlyn gets the win.

Winner: Kaitlyn

Main Event
Alberto Del Rio, Sheamus & Randy Orton vs Jack Swagger, Mark Henry & The Big Show

Match starts with Del Rio and Swagger. Both Del Rio and Orton get the upperhand on Swagger. However after a tag to Big Show, his team takes control of Del Rio. Sheamus eventually gets the hot tag and hits White Noise on Big Show. Sheamus goes after Henry and gets caught by a chokeslam from Show but kicks out at two! Henry, Swagger and Show make quick tags and work over Sheamus. Orton gets the hot tag and cleans house. All hell breaks loose. Swagger has the ankle lock on Del Rio but Orton hits the RKO. Orton covers for the win.

Winners: Team Orton, Del Rio & Sheamus

And that’s the show!
