WWE SmackDown Results – May 24, 2013

We start off with MizTV. Guests are Fandango and Summer Rae. Miz goes on about winning the IC title later. Wade Barrett comes out and they brawl.

Match #1
The Miz vs Wade Barrett – IC Title

Match starts off with Miz looking good. Fandango is on commentary. Barrett takes down Miz and Miz starts a comeback. Fandango and Summer Rae begin dancing. Miz goes after Fandango and Fandango hits him, causing the DQ. Barrett and Fandango beat down Miz. Bullhammer to Fandango! Barrett stands tall.

Winner by DQ: The Miz

Match #2
Jack Swagger vs Daniel Bryan

Match starts off with Swagger dominating and putting Bryan in the tree of woe. We return to Bryan fighting back and Bryan hits a running clothesline. Running dropkick to the corner from Bryan. DB with the kicks in the corner. Running dropkick to a seated Swagger. Swagger goes for the doctor bomb but Bryan reverses, however Swagger reverses into the Patriot Lock. Bryan with a roll up for two. Bryan with the stomps to Swagger’s face and the No! Lock. Bryan wins!

Winner: Daniel Bryan

Damien Sandow is out in the ring. Sandow has a knotted rope. He challenges Matt Striker to untie it. Sheamus comes out and tries to untie it. Sheamus challenges Sandow to do it. Sandow uses bolt cutters. Sheamus goes for the Brogue Kick and Sandow avoids it and leaves. Sheamus throw Striker into Sandow.

Match #3
Chris Jericho vs Big Show

Big Show has the bearhug on Jericho. Y2J with kicks to Show. Jericho with a dropkick to the knee. Big Show takes control back after chopping Jericho in the on a missed flying maneuver. Big Show tries a diving elbow and misses. Lionsault from Jericho for two. Big Show with a chokeslam and Jericho is out of the ring. Big Show picks up Jericho but Big Show goes into the ring post. Jericho with a codebreaker that sends Show over the barricade. Count out!

Match #4
Curtis Axel vs Sin Cara

Axel is in control early and stomps down Sin Cara. Sin Cara fights back and hits a springboard crossbody. Sin Cara with an enziguri. Sin Cara tries the flying crossbody and misses. Big swinging neckbreaker from Axel.

Winner: Curtis Axel

Main Event
Dean Ambrose vs Kofi Kingston – US title

Match barely begins before The Shield come in and beat down on Kofi. Randy Orton and Sheamus make the save and it becomes a six man tag.

Main Event
The Shield vs Sheamus, Randy Orton and Kofi Kingston

Orton unloads on Rollins in the corner with punches. Tags to Kofi who hits an axe handle smash. Kicks from Kofi. Ambrose is and and Orton and Sheamus work on him. Sheamus makes the hot tag to Orton, back from a commercial. Hanging DDT to Rollins to Orton. Shield take control of Orton and work him over with quick tags. Kofi with the big tag and after some chaos, Ambrose hits his finisher and The Shield remain unbeaten as a group.

Winners: The Shield
