WWE Superstars Results – October 2, 2014

We are in Chicago, Illinois and your announcers are Renee Young and Tom Phillips.

Match Number One: Kofi Kingston versus Sin Cara

They shake hands at the start of the match before locking up. Cara with a side head lock and shoulder tackle. Both men go to a stand off before locking up again. Cara with a waist lock but Kofi with a front face lock and he takes Cara to the mat. Kofi holds on while Cara tries to escape or reverse the hold. Cara gets to his feet and Cara with a drop kick when Kofi goes down expecting Cara to flip over and Cara gets a near fall.

Cara with a butterfly back breaker for a near fall. Cara with a rear chin lock. Cara with a neck breaker and he kicks Kofi in the back. Kofi sends Cara into the turnbuckles and then he hits a leaping clothesline. Kofi with the Boom Drop and he sets for Trouble in Paradise. Cara grabs Kofi when he goes for Trouble in Paradise and counters into a power bomb for a near fall. Cara with chops in the corner.

Cara puts Kofi on the turnbuckles and he connects with forearms and an enzuigiri. Cara goes up for a super rana but Kofi pushes Cara off. Kofi with a rana but Cara holds on for a near fall. Cara kicks Kofi in the leg and then the ribs. Cara goes for a springboard cross body but he turns into Trouble in Paradise for the three count.

Winner: Kofi Kingston

We take a look at what happened when Dean Ambrose dealt with Kane and Seth Rollins on Smackdown and borrowed the Money in the Bank Briefcase.

Match Number Two: Jimmy Uso (with Jey Uso) versus Stardust

They lock up and Jimmy with a side head lock and shoulder tackle. Jimmy blocks a hip toss and he slams Stardust. Stardust goes into the ropes to prevent Jimmy from taking advantage. Stardust with a kick and punches to Jimmy. Stardust with a head butt followed by an Irish whip but Jimmy floats over and he connects with a punch to a charging Stardust.

Jimmy clotheslines Stardust over the top rope to the floor. Stardust runs away from Jimmy when he sets for a dive to the floor. Jimmy goes to the apron and Stardust pulls him off the apron. Stardust with a back elbow off the apron as we go to commercial.

We are back and Stardust drops down and he kicks Jimmy in the head and gets a near fall. Stardust kicks Jimmy. Stardust with a reverse chin lock. Jimmy with punches and Stardust takes care of Jimmy and he taunts Jey. Jimmy with an Irish whip but he runs into boots from Stardust. Stardust takes too much time on the floor and Jimmy pulls Stardust into the ring post.

Stardust returns to the ring and both men have the idea to use a clothesline and both men are down. Both men get up and Jimmy with clotheslines followed by a thrust kick and uppercut. Jimmy with a BubbaBomb and Stardust falls into the turnbuckles. Jimmy goes for the running butt splash but Stardust with a double leg nelson for a near fall. Stardust escapes a Samoan drop but he is not so lucky the second time around, but Stardust is able to kick out at two.

Jimmy has a super kick blocked and Goldust with an inverted DDT. Stardust goes to the turnbuckles but he is met with a super kick when he comes off the turnbuckles. Jimmy with a superfly splash for the three count.

Winner: Jimmy Uso
