WWE Teams With NASCAR; Cena, Miz & More Comment – Details

A new five minute video aired on Speed Center (on SPEED) to hype the NASCAR All-Star Race. It discussed what it means to be an all star and featured WWE stars John Cena, The Miz and Jerry “The King” Lawler along with Kemba Walker of the Charlotte Bobcats, Roy Williams (Head Coach of UNC Basketball), Cullen Jones (Olympic Gold medalist in Swimming) and Ryan Lochte, another Olympic Gold Medalist in Swimming.

Cena said that All-Stars are the “top dogs”. He said the attitude is to do the best you can. He mentioned “Never Give Up” and said that’s what it means to be an All-Star. He said: “You are the 1% of 1% and then take it to the next level to be a All-Star. You are the one that’s in the front not letting them pass….or you’re the one that’s going to be in the rear-view mirror coming up fast. ”

Miz said you have to walk, talk and act like a star. As someone fixed his tie, he said: “You have to talk like Kyle Busch, drive like Carl Edwards, and be fast fast and more fast. You know you are a All-Star when people off-camera look out for you and fix your tie for you. Look, no hands! You’ll at the top of the mountain and everyone is climbing up but you won’t let them up. That’s being a All-Star.”

Lawler added: “You’re at a level head and shoulders above everyone else. If you’re gonna come out on top you’ll have to be your very best.”
