– The final numbers for WWE’s SummerSlam pay-per-view at the Staples Center in Los Angeles was 14,205 fans in attendance for $1,135,590. The UFC event two weeks prior in the same building did $1,044,453 with 10,151 paid fans and a total of 16,080 in attendance.

– As PWMania.com previously reported, former WWE and WCW star Butch Reed was being held on jail for a probation violation. The reason for his violation was a number of DWI charges.

– Here are some WWE attendance figures for the month of August:

* RAW on August 24th in Cape Girardeau, MO drew 3,600 fans for $115,000
* RAW on August 25th in Peoria, IL drew 3,500 fans for $110,000
* SmackDown on August 25th in Sioux Falls, SD drew 3,500 fans for $110,000
* RAW on August 26th in Rockford, IL drew 3,500 fans for $92,000
* SmackDown on August 26th in Rochester, MN drew 3,000 fans for $95,000
