WWE Website Traffic Increases While Live Event Attendance Slightly Drops

wwe

- WWE’s latest monthly business figures reports that their website usage has spiked in the second quarter of this year.

Pay-per-view pre-shows and more emphasis on their website is the likely cause of increase. WWE saw a three-year high in page views during the quarter (April through June) and a three-year high in the number of minutes spent on the website per visit.

- Compared to WWE’s previous second quarters in 2010 and 2011, WWE’s domestic live event attendance was down slightly in second quarter 2012. The average attendance excluding WrestleMania was 5,400, down slightly from 5,600 excluding Mania in Q2-2011 and 5,800 in Q2-2010.
