WWE Working On CM Punk Documentary, Iron Shiek News, More
- The Chicago Tribune is reporting that WWE is currently filming a behind-the-scenes documentary on RAW superstar and Chicago native, CM Punk. The straight-to-DVD project, which is currently untitled, will be released some time in 2012.
As we reported a few weeks ago, WWE is looking to capitalize on CM Punk’s popularity with a big push on television, along with new merchandise, a book, a possible movie role and more.
- WWE Hall of Famer Iron Sheik is currently battling health issues that forced him to miss a stand-up comedy appearance at the “Dinner with Legends” event in St. Louis over the weekend. Sheik told a local radio station that his knee and ankle were bothering him and he’ll have to reschedule the appearance.
