— Actress/singer Jennifer Hudson says her WWE superstar boyfriend David Otunga saved her life back in 2008. Otunga was training at WWE’s developmental territory Florida Championship Wrestling at the time and urged Hudson to visit him in Florida. The weekend that she visited Otunga at FCW, her family was brutally murdered in Chicago. Had she had not been with Otunga in Florida, Hudson believes she would have been killed as well.

“He wanted me to come out to Florida with him instead of going to Chicago,” she told Ebony Magazine. “I flew out to see him; that’s why I’m still here. I’ve never said that before, and I can’t believe I just said that now.”

Hudson also denied reports that her wedding to Otunga was put on hold due to a disagreement over a prenuptial agreement. She says personal issues related to her family are the reason they’ve put the wedding on hold.
