Yoshi Tatsu Deletes Tweets, Abe Washington, Cena On Bin Laden
- The dark main event after last night’s WWE SmackDown tapings in Toledo, Ohio saw Randy Orton defeat Kane.
– WWE’s website has a new article up with John Cena, reflecting back on the announcement from Extreme Rules 2011 that United States forces had killed Osama bin Laden. Cena said:
“The only thing I felt in that moment was the need to tell everyone in the arena, because as an American it was the right thing to do. I realize a lot of people heard it for the first time from me, but I’d like to think that if anyone had been in my shoes, they would have done the same exact thing. The announcement pretty much overshadowed the pay-per-view and everything else going on at the time. That’s how big and important it was, and why we are talking about it a year later.”
– Abraham Washington says former WWE Tag Team Champions Epico and Primo may be ready to sign with him. He wrote on Twitter Tuesday:
“After speaking with Primo and Epico last night the former #WWE tag team champions might be ready to sign on the dotted line… Even though Primo and Epico lost the battle, by signing with me they most certainly will win the RAW is WAR!!!!!”
– We noted yesterday that WWE Superstar Yoshi Tatsu was ranting on Twitter about Lord Tensai and his name being offensive to Japan. Tatsu has since deleted those tweets.
