Zack Ryder Challenges The Miz, Raw Pre-Show Nixed, Extreme Rules Pre-Sale
– The Miz became a Triple Crown Champion on last night’s RAW after winning the Intercontinental Title. He has previously held the WWE Title and the Tag Team Titles.
- Speaking of The Miz, he received his first challenge via Tout last night as Zack Ryder uploaded a video wanting a title shot.
- Despite announcing that a special Raw Pre-Show would stream live on WWE.com and on WWE’s official YouTube channel prior to the USA broadcast, it did not.
- As reported earlier, WWE’s annual Extreme Rules pay-per-view event is being moved back a month next year. The event will occupy the weekend typically reserved for Over the Limit as it takes place May 19th, 2013 at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Missouri on May 19th, 2013. A pre-sale is being held on Ticketmaster.com now through Friday at 10:00 p.m. CT with the password EXTREME. Tickets go on sale to the general public on February 23, 2013.
- Sean Mooney, the first person to appear on the premiere episode of Raw in 1993, resurfaced on Monday’s show as he conducted a backstage interview with Daniel Bryan. Zack Ryder reacted to his return on Twitter: “I met Sean Mooney tonight…#SSSIIICCCKKK.”
