5 Stars Who Might Leave WWE in 2019

The World Wrestling Entertainment, popularly known as WWE has been ruling the professional wrestling industry for a long time now. However, the company established by Vincent Kennedy McMahon is no longer the only one with a high degree of entertainment and many more new players have started luring the fans. Therefore, switch-overs are becoming common among the WWE superstars as well and for this reason, a lot many superstars might get released by the WWE in 2019 while some others might simply move out of the WWE voluntarily. Here is the list of 5 WWE stars who might leave WWE in 2019:

Jeff Hardy
Jeff Hardy had been an iconic WWE superstar and he even had a successful singles career after starting off alongside Matt Hardy in the tag career. However, since his return to WWE at WrestleMania 33, he hasn’t performed like he did at his peak. And after parting ways with his brother Matt Hardy to Smackdown Live, he had to give up his claim on WWE Raw Tag Team title. Since Jeff has already completed his Grand Slam in WWE, there looks no requirement for him to overwork his body at 41, which isn’t a good age for an agile wrestling style. It is quite possible that he too bids farewell to in-ring action later in 2019.

Brock Lesnar
When Brock Lesnar lost the Universal Championship to Roman Reigns at the 2018 Summer Slam, there were already a lot of rumours about Brock leaving the WWE which even turned out to be true. However, he returned with a bang at Hell in a Cell after the WWE signed him for two matches, at the Survivor Series and the Royal Rumble until WrestleMania 35. Now that WrestleMania is fast approaching and Seth Rollins is yet to open up his cards on who he wishes to face at WrestleMania, it is highly likely that Brock would lose the title to Seth and move on to the Octagonal ring. He’s been making switch-overs for a long time in the past, so it shouldn’t be surprising as well.

Ronda Rousey
Ronda Rousey has had an astounding career after joining the WWE her Women’s Title reign started at Summerslam. She has given a lot of action-packed performances till now, the latest one being her title defence against Sasha Banks. That being said, Ronda hasn’t been able to dominate Becky Lynch so far and Becky is already set to face her at WrestleMania 35. Going by Ronda Rousey’s YouTube Channel where she said that she owes a lot to the human race and aims at passing on her genes to the next generation, it is quite clear that she has nothing left to prove anymore and she’s all set to quit WWE soon. That moment wouldn’t be better than WrestleMania 35 when she just finishes an year of her WWE career.

Sheamus
Sheamus is not being used up to his full potential by the WWE and every fan can notice that easily. The Sheamus that we see nowadays is completely different and has a weak character from the one who has slayed the King, became the King of the Ring, WWE Champion, etc. The reason behind this weak character is Spinal Stenosis, which forced Edge to wind up his career. Therefore, to safeguard Sheamus from potential injuries as in Singles matches, he has been put into tag team actions and certainly that’s not going too well. Since Sheamus is already an old dog in the WWE now, the company might release him to rope in fresh superstars, which is certainly best for business.

Dolph Ziggler
Dolph Ziggler came alongside Drew McIntyre and it was speculated that he could be here for a big push. But there are confirmed reports about him rejecting an offer worth more than a million dollars by WWE. Also, he has not been seen since his steel cage match with Drew McIntyre and that adds to these rumours. An interesting fact to note is that Dolph has already changed his name on Twitter to Nic Nemeth and that makes it quite evident that he doesn’t wish to work with WWE anymore. So his departure from the company seems certain.
