Former WWE star Dijak recently spoke with Fightfulโs Sean Ross Sapp about a number of topics, including learning he was going to appear on WWE Main Event.
Dijak said, โOne of the bigger daggers to me was I got a text from the writer who was assigned to me.โ โHe and I had a good conversation the first or second week of Raw where I pitched all this stuff. I was hearing through the grapevine, โCreative wants to use you. Hunter has this plan. He wants you on TV every week.โ โGood, good. I can recover. As long as Iโm wrestling in a ring, I know I can make this work.โ It was a Saturday, I got a text from my writer, โHey we have you on Main Event.โ The second I saw that, Iโm like, โF**k.โ I know what that means. Thatโs not an opportunity, thatโs a death sentence. โS**t.โโ
โIโm working with Paragon (Talent Agency), Mojo (Rawley) and Steve (Kay). I donโt know where I would be without them. Where my headspace would be without them, but itโd be in a bad spot right now. Iโm thankful to have them on board. Theyโre super brilliant. Theyโre staying positive. Online, the discourse is, โTheyโre just waiting for him to re-sign. They want to lock him in.โ Mojo and Steve are reassuring, โThey do this all the time. Theyโre trying to get a better deal so theyโre taking you down to the wire.โ In the back of my head Iโm like, โMaybe.โ Iโm not saying theyโre wrong. Theyโre wonderful and looking out for my best interests, but Iโve been me for the past seven years and I know how this company talks to people and treats people at my level. Iโm familiar with how that works. โIt does not feel like that guys.’โ
