WWE NXT is said to have strong interest in TNA Wrestling star Mike Santana, following his recent guest appearances on the brand, according to a new report from PWInsiderElite.
Santana has reportedly received “high marks” internally, particularly after his recent match with NXT Champion Trick Williams, which was well-received both backstage and by fans. Following that bout, NXT officials have once again discussed the possibility of bringing him into the fold on a more permanent basis.
However, there’s a catch—Santana is currently under contract with TNA through the end of 2025, which would prevent any official move to WWE until early 2026, barring a special arrangement or release.
The interest comes at a notable time, as Santana recently wrapped up his run with House of Glory, a key independent promotion where he’s been a mainstay outside of his TNA commitments. His farewell there has only fueled speculation about his future.
Known for his intensity, authenticity, and gritty in-ring style, Santana has been gaining momentum since his return to singles competition, and it appears WWE is keeping a close eye on what’s next for the former Proud and Powerful member.
