The road to AEW ALL IN: London begins tonight with AEW Dynamite live at 8/7c on TBS and HBO Max from San Diego, CA.
The Sum 41 “You Wanted War” theme hits and Excalibur welcomes us to the show as the camera pans the arena.
Backstage With Will Ospreay, Jon Moxley, Kenny Omega & MJF
He then sends us to a digital exclusive from backstage at AEW Forbidden Door. Renee Paquette approaches a bloody Will Ospreay, with Alex Windsor, fresh after his Owen Hart Cup win. He sees Jon Moxley and asks for a minute. Mox tells him he doesn’t give these out often, and offers him a full spot in The Death Riders.
Mox walks off. Ospreay sees Kenny Omega. Omega looks at what Mox gave him and doesn’t seem thrilled. Ospreay cuts him off and says Omega is not his dad. He tells him that he can see how he’s looking at it and just because he’s given up on himself, doesn’t mean Ospreay has, too.
Omega goes to take exception to that, but before he can say anything, out from a door pops MJF with his AEW World Championship. He mocks them for their “cute lovers quarrel.” Omega tells him he’s so funny, but he’s got a title defense against Mark Briscoe in just a couple of days.
He says if he gets past that, he’s already got someone knocking on his door. MJF smirks, leans past Omega disrespectfully, and says to Ospreay, “I’ll see you at Wembley, BRUV!” He walks off. Omega tells Ospreay he loves him and their friendship is bigger than any Death Rider drama. He says he’s proud of him and walks off. Ospreay looks at Mox’s Death Rider gift as the intense scene ends there.
AEW World Championship
MJF (c) vs. Mark Briscoe
Inside the arena we return live, where we hear, “Reach for the sky, boy!” Out comes Redneck Kung Fu’s highest-ranking black belt, Mark Briscoe, for his big title opportunity in our first match of the evening. MJF makes his way out next and we’re about to get our high stakes opener started.
MJF kicks Briscoe in the midsection and applies a side-headlock. Briscoe sends him off the ropes and delivers a spine-buster before stomping him down in the corner. Briscoe sends MJF across, but MJF leapfrogs and tweaks his knee. Briscoe goes after it.
However, MJF counters with a quick piledriver for a two count. MJF rips the bandage off of Briscoe’s head and busts him open before delivering a back-body drop. MJF delivers another back-body drop and goes for another toss, but Briscoe lands on his feet and delivers palm strikes.
Briscoe follows with a corner clothesline and an exploder suplex before dropping MJF with a Death Valley Driver. Briscoe goes up top, but MJF hits the ropes and climbs as well. Briscoe delivers right hands and bites MJF’s head before delivering a headbutt.
Briscoe connects with the Froggy Bow and goes for the cover, but MJF kicks out at two. Briscoe sets up for the Jay Driller, but MJF wrenches Briscoe’s arm and slams him to the mat. Briscoe comes back with an elbow shot and sends MJF to the floor. Briscoe drops MJF down with a cannonball through the ropes.
He then tosses a chair into the ring. Briscoes launches off the chair to drop MJF on the outside again, and then he grabs a table. Briscoe slams MJF into the ring steps and puts him on the table. Briscoe goes for the Froggy Bow, but MJF cuts him off and throws him onto the apron
MJF puts the table back down and sends it back under the ring. On that note, the show shifts gears and settles into a mid-match commercial break as the action continues. When the show returns, we see this title tilt still in progress, with the crowd energy picking up.
They exchange rights in the ring, and then Briscoe clotheslines MJF to the floor. Briscoe rips the padding off the floor and sets up for the Jay Driller, but MJF counters with another back-body drop. MJF goes for a piledriver, but Briscoe counters and delivers a scoop slam.
Briscoe delivers an elbow drop from the apron, and then delivers a Cutthroat Driver back in the ring for a two count. Briscoe delivers a headbutt on the outside and drags the table back out. Briscoe sets the table up and goes after MJF, but MJF drop-toe holds him into a chair.
MJF charges at Briscoe, but Briscoe cuts him off with a throat jab and follows with a neck-breaker from the barricade. Briscoe delivers an uppercut to get MJF on the table, and then delivers the Froggy Bow from the top. Briscoe gets MJF back into the ring and goes for the cover, but MJF gets his boot on the rope.
MJF comes back with an eye poke, but Briscoe delivers an elbow strike. MJF connects with a series of strikes and kicks, but Briscoe delivers his own and they are both down. Briscoe connects with another shot and follows up with the Jay Driller, but MJF kicks out at two.
Briscoe goes for an avalanche Jay Driller, but MJF gouges his eyes to get free. MJF goes for the Heatseeker, but Briscoe shoves him away. They exchange roll-ups for two counts, and then MJF delivers a wheelbarrow drop. MJF connects with the Heatseeker for the pin to retain his title.

Kenny Omega & MJF Have Words
Once the match wraps up, MJF puts on the Dynamite diamond ring and drops Briscoe with one punch. MJF gets the doctors out of the ring and goes for another punch, but Kenny Omega rushes the ring to make the save. Omega grabs a mic and tells MJF to not act so surprised.
Omega says he told MJF he would be here and would be knocking down his door. Omega says MJF seems to have a lot of energy tonight and says how about he gets rid of some of it. MJF says it’s bad enough that he had to wrestle Briscoe in California.
MJF says it is laughable that Omega thinks he deserves a title match, because he has beaten Omega twice and kicked out of the One Winged Angel like it was nothing. MJF says Omega can have a match with him next week, but only if Omega agrees to a stipulation. If MJF wins, Omega never gets to challenge for the AEW title again.
Renee Paquette Interviews MJF
We shoot backstage after a commercial break, where we see Renee Paquette catching up with MJF. She asks him if he feels prepared for Omega, and he says he will get to that in a minute. MJF addresses Andrade El Idolo and says payback is coming.
MJF says Andrade won’t know when or where, but it will hit like a ton of bricks. MJF runs down all of the guys he haa beaten in AEW and says they were all easy wins. MJF says Omega is 0-2 against him and that will never change if Omega doesn’t agree to the stipulation for next week.
MJF says Omega will not accept, because he is literally gutless. Will Ospreay walks up and says MJF might break his neck sucking himself off like that. Ospreay asks MJF why the stipulation, and MJF says because he is the champion. MJF says he will see Ospreay at ALL IN.
Andrade El Idolo Explains His Turn At Forbidden Door
Now we see Tony Schiavone is on the stage, and he introduces Andrade. Andrade says it is time to beat MJF and become the new AEW World Champion. Andrade says he has one question: “How you know?” Members of the Don Callis Family attack Andrade and get him into the ring.
Brian Cage, Jake Doyle, Kevin Knight, and Lance Archer beat Andrade down as Callis looks on. Cage delivers the Drill Claw, and Callis tells them to get Andrade out of his sight because Knight has a match to win. The show moves on from there.
Mercedes Mone Talks Owen Hart Cup Win
We get a quick word from “The CEO” Mercedes Mone, who says she is the first two-time Owen Hart Cup winner and proved that no one is on her level. Mone says dreams don’t win championships, but she does, and the AEW Women’s World Championship is the last piece of what belongs to her.
TNT Championship
Kevin Knight (c) vs. Lio Rush
Back to the ring we go for our second match of the evening. We’re two-for-two with in-ring title tilts this evening, as next up, TNT Champion Kevin Knight battles ROH TV Champion Lio Rush, with the TNT title on-the-line. The ring entrances take place and the bell sounds.
Straight out of the gate, we see Rush taunt Knight with his backpack, and then Knight opens it. He pulls out a black ROH World Television title, and Rush gets a roll-up for a two count. Rush bites Knight’s leg in the corner and follows with right hands.
Doyle pulls Knight to the outside and Knight strategizes with Callis. Rush connects with a kick as Knight tries to get back into the ring, and then drops him with a dive through the ropes. On that note, the show shifts gears and settles into a mid-match commercial break as the action continues.
The show returns and we see the action still ongoing. Knight delivers a back-breaker and goes for the cover, but Rush kicks out at two. Knight favors his knee and Rush takes advantage. Rush delivers quick strikes and delivers a low stunner for a two count.
Rush applies a bridging submission, but Knight gets to the ropes and Doyle pulls him to the outside. Rush dives onto Doyle, but Doyle catches him. Rush sends him into the ringpost, but Knight drops Rush with a leaping clothesline.
Knight follows with a springboard clothesline back in the ring and then grabs him, but Rush counters into a roll-up for a two count. Knight slams Rush down with two Crash Landings and gets the pin fall. With the win, Knight retains the TNT title.

Darby Allin Confronts Kevin Knight
Once the bout wraps up, Darby Allin comes out. Allin says he has Knight’s attention, and then asks what he is going to do with it. Allin says he wants a title match, and if Knight says so, what happened at Forbidden Door will keep happening.
Allin says Knight started this, and asks how he is going to finish it. Knight says he is tired ot dealing with Allin and is about to give him a title match, but Callis says no. Callis says Allin has been a great wrestler and champion, but he almost killed Knight with his stunt at Forbidden Door.
Callis says Allin is a criminal, and the Family doesn’t reward criminal behavior so Allin will never get a title match as long as he has something to say about it. Allin says if that’s what they want to do, they just dug their grave. Allin laughs at them as Callis continues to insult him. He says they’re going to protect Knight from him.
Chris Jericho & Tommaso Ciampa Brawl
We see footage showing Chris Jericho defeating JD Drake and telling Schiavone to tell everyone that he is better than Tommaso Ciampa. Backstage, Renee is with Ciampa. Ciampa says Jericho is a bully and then tells Renee to tell everyone that he is better than Jericho. Jericho hits him with a trashcan and a chair.
They brawl outside of the arena. Ciampa comes back with other weapon shots to Jericho, and then attacks a security guy as well. Ciampa tries to use a power drill on Jericho, but Jericho cuts him off. Ciampa slams Jericho into a trailer, but security grab Ciampa. Jericho dives onto all of them, and then security pulls them apart.
Backstage With Kenny Omega & The Young Bucks
Backstage, Renee interviews Omega. He is with The Young Bucks, and she asks him if he has come to a decision. They say they are in the middle of discussing it right now. Nick Jackson is hesitant about the stipulation, but Matt Jackson is more confident in Omega.
Omega says he has not come to a decision, but what is left for him if he can’t challenge for the title. Omega says if he takes the match, it is win or lose alone as much as he loves the Bucks.
Jon Moxley & Will Ospreay vs. Blake Christian & Lee Johnson
We return to the ring for scheduled tag-team action, as Jon Moxley and Will Ospreay join forces to take on The Swirl duo of Blake Christian and Lee Johnson next. Christian and Johnson attack Moxley and Ospreay and get Ospreay out of the ring.
They double-team Moxley in the corner, but Moxley turns it around on Christian. Moxley delivers right hands to Christian, and then follows with a chop to Johnson, but they come back and double-team him again. Moxley kicks Christian in the face and tags Ospreay in.
Ospreay slams Christian down and kicks Johnson to the floor. Ospreay drops Christian with a hurricanrana and drops them with a cross-body on the outside. Ospreay gets Christian back into the ring and slams him into the corner. Ospreay drops a few knees and tags in Moxley as the show heads to a commercial.
The show returns and we see The Swirl are still control of the situation until Mox catches them with a double clothesline. Christian rolls to the apron as Mox continues the attack on Johnson, only for Lee to fight back for a tag to Blake.
They double team Mox to send him to the ropes, where Jay Lethal sneakily pulls Mox to the mat from outside. The ref is stunned by what happened, but Marina Shafir gets some revenges with an exploder suplex sending Lethal to the floor.
Mox manages to fight back for a tag to Ospreay, as Lee tags in, only to be slammed by Ospreay to the mat. He sends Lee to the corner as Mox comes in for an assist. Blake tries to catch Mox from a springboard, but Ospreay intercepts for a cutter. Mox lands a Paradigm Shift on Johnson. Ospreay hits Hidden Blade. 1-2-3.

Jay White Returns
Once the match wraps up, we see Ospreay celebrating in the ring as Mox and Sharif exit through the crowd. We go to an interview with Cage & Cope after Forbidden Door, where Christian addresses the pair winning to retain their titles over The Dogs.
He wants to know what Jay White was doing out there, and Cope says the Switchblade owed him a favor and now they’re even. Cage recounts his issues with Jay White before walking off, and Dynamite rolls on. Back at ringside, Jay White is accompanied by the Bang Bang Gang to the ring.
Jay gets a microphone to address that it’s been 459 days since he’s had a chance to talk to the peoples, saying hello to his San Diego “Gold Members”. He addresses the fact the crowd aren’t as worried about the Death Riders as they were when he was here last, and he won’t spend much time tonight addressing the biggest fraud of them all.
Jay turns his attention to The Dogs, making a “Who Let The Dogs Out” joke before addressing his history with David Finlay in particular. He talks about how good Finlay is, as someone born into this business. But all of that doesn’t change the fact that David Finlay is a “nepo baby b*tch boy.”
Fans chant “nepo baby”, but Jay tells them to wait until he’s out here for that. He talks about Finlay’s arrogance stinking up the place, with Jay offering to give us some fresh air. He tells Finlay that Sunday was just the beginning, as this is the Switchblade Era. “If you’re not down with that, we’ve got two words for ya: Guns Up!”
Shane Taylor Promotions Issues A Challenge
Backstage, we see Shane Taylor Promotions standing by. STP calls out the Bang Bang Gang for an eight-man tag-team match at this week’s AEW Collision show. This was kept brief, and then the show quickly moved on from there.
