WWE presented Monday Night Raw live from the Rocket Arena in Cleveland, Ohio, on August 31, 2026. The show featured PENTA facing Rey Fenix in the finals of the World Heavyweight Championship No. 1 Contender’s Tournament, Raquel Rodriguez defending the Women’s Intercontinental Championship against Sol Ruca, and more.

Royce Keys and OTM Attack The Usos
As Raw went on the air, Royce Keys and OTM ambushed The Usos in the parking lot. Keys smashed their car’s windshield with a crowbar, leaving Jey Uso busted open.
Keys pulled Jey from the vehicle before OTM powerbombed Jimmy Uso through the rear windshield. The attackers fled in their own car after Jacob Fatu appeared carrying a lead pipe.
Adam Pearce and WWE medical personnel checked on The Usos as the broadcast moved inside. Following the introductions for the opening match, Fatu climbed onto the announce desk and called out Keys and OTM.
Fatu accused the group of attempting to ambush his brothers and warned that if they wanted a war with The Bloodline, he would take on all three men himself. His microphone was cut off during the expletive-filled promo, prompting an angry Fatu to leave through the crowd.
WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship Match
Raquel Rodriguez (c) vs. Sol Ruca
Sol Ruca used her speed and athleticism to evade Raquel Rodriguez before delivering a headscissors takedown. She clotheslined the champion over the top rope and followed with a Space Flying Tiger Drop.
Rodriguez quickly regained control by catching Ruca with the Pounce. She grounded the challenger with strikes and kicks, but Ruca responded with a corner dropkick and running hip attack.
Ruca escaped an attempted fallaway slam and connected with a springboard crossbody for a two-count. She later applied the Tarantula and knocked Rodriguez outside, but the champion avoided a triangle moonsault and flattened Ruca with a running crossbody on the floor.
Rodriguez controlled the match following the commercial break until Ruca mounted a comeback with leaping shoulder tackles, a backstabber, missile dropkick and running knee strike.
Ruca countered Rodriguez on the apron and delivered a sunset flip powerbomb to the floor. She then struck Roxanne Perez, superkicked Liv Morgan and wiped out the group with a springboard crossbody.
After returning Rodriguez to the ring, Ruca prepared for the Sol Snatcher. Morgan distracted the referee, allowing Lyra Valkyria to shove Ruca directly into Rodriguez’s Tejana Bomb.
Rodriguez made the cover and retained her championship.

Chad Gable, Dragon Lee and Ethan Page Segment
Intercontinental Champion Chad Gable thanked the Cleveland crowd and said winning the title had not given him the satisfaction he expected. He realized that becoming champion was only the beginning of the work required to define his legacy.
Gable reflected on his recent title defense against Rey Mysterio and credited the Mexican fans for supporting him during his time in AAA. With Raw returning to Mexico for the first time in 15 years, Gable announced that he would defend the Intercontinental Championship in Mexico City.
The champion then introduced Dragon Lee, praising his tournament match against Rey Fenix and describing him as one of his favorite performers on the roster. Lee returned the compliment and expressed his respect for Gable.
Gable revealed that Adam Pearce had allowed him to choose his challenger in Mexico City, prompting Ethan Page to interrupt. Page accused Gable of repeatedly offering opportunities to undeserving luchadores and suggested that the champion was attempting to ease his guilt over his previous behavior.
Gable assured Page that his name was on the list of potential challengers—just below The Honky Tonk Man. Page warned that Gable would become a “paper champion” if he continued behaving like a charity case.
Page then dismissed Lee as a “little guy” while claiming the men were speaking. Lee responded by accusing Page of having a big mouth while saying nothing and challenged him to prove he was the better wrestler.
Gable proposed an immediate match between Lee and Page, with the winner earning an Intercontinental Championship opportunity. Page accepted.
Intercontinental Championship No. 1 Contender’s Match
Ethan Page vs. Dragon Lee
Chad Gable watched the match from ringside as Dragon Lee used his speed to catch Ethan Page with an arm drag, running hurricanrana and dropkick.
Page halted Lee’s momentum with a midair powerslam. He followed with strikes and a big boot before grounding Lee and taunting Gable.
Lee fought back with a corner dropkick, Wrecking Ball dropkick and Shibata-style dropkick for a two-count. He then knocked Page from the apron and landed a somersault plancha.
Page regained control and caught Lee with a butterfly backbreaker on the floor. Back inside, he delivered a reverse fisherman’s suplex for another nearfall.
Lee escaped the Ego’s Edge with a small package before delivering a rebound German suplex, superkick and tornado DDT. Page survived and caught Lee in midair, but Lee responded with a pump knee and a flying hurricanrana that sent Page into the announce desk.
Lee attempted a running cannonball, but Page intercepted him with a leaping right hand and threw him into Gable. Page continued taunting the champion, prompting Gable to climb onto the apron.
With the referee dealing with Gable, Page removed the top turnbuckle pad. Lee superkicked Page, but Page recovered and drove him face-first into the exposed steel. The referee refused to count the pin after noticing the removed turnbuckle pad.
Page argued with the official, allowing Lee to connect with Operation Dragon and secure the victory.

Joe Tessitore announced that WWE had agreed to a new three-year deal with Perth, Western Australia. Wrestlepalooza 2026 will take place there on December 12, with episodes of SmackDown and Raw also being held in Perth that weekend.
Roman Reigns Tells Jacob Fatu to Handle Royce Keys
Roman Reigns arrived at the arena and approached Jacob Fatu backstage. Fatu told Reigns that The Usos were in bad condition after being ambushed by Royce Keys and OTM.
Fatu said Keys had reached another level and warned that he was an even bigger problem than Reigns had considered Fatu to be.
Reigns responded that Keys was now Fatu’s problem and instructed him to handle the situation. The Tribal Chief said everything else was his responsibility.
WWE also announced that Crown Jewel 2026 will take place at Riyadh Season Stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on November 7.
Roman Reigns and LA Knight Confront Each Other
World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns entered the ring and demanded that Cleveland acknowledge him.
Reigns described being the champion and Tribal Chief as a burden because everyone wanted what he possessed. He said he should have been discussing PENTA and Rey Fenix, who had earned their opportunities, rather than wrestlers who complained and demanded title matches.
Reigns then addressed Solo Sikoa, accusing him of wasting an opportunity to acknowledge and serve him by siding with LA Knight. Reigns suggested Knight reminded Solo of The Rock but emphasized that Knight was not a member of their family.
Knight interrupted and accused Reigns of recycling material from three years earlier. He noted that he had called Reigns out for months, only for the champion to place his family and tournaments between them.
Knight joked that “OTC” stood for “One Tremendous Coward” and accused Reigns of being afraid. He reminded Reigns that he had dropped him on his head during their previous confrontation and questioned why the champion had been absent the following week.
The two men moved into a tense faceoff before commotion was heard backstage. Cameras showed Solo lying on the floor and bleeding heavily.
Reigns and Knight rushed backstage, where Solo was receiving medical attention. Knight accused Jacob Fatu of carrying out the attack, but Fatu denied any involvement.
Adam Pearce and several referees attempted to separate Knight and Fatu. Reigns then struck Knight with a Superman Punch and told Fatu to deal with Royce Keys while he handled LA Knight.
A vignette featuring Lola Vice aired.
Je’Von Evans vs. Dominik Mysterio
Dominik Mysterio attacked Je’Von Evans before the opening bell and continued the assault at ringside. Evans insisted on competing, prompting the referee to start the match.
Evans immediately displayed his athleticism with a backflip, heel kick, bouncing hurricanrana and dropkick. JD McDonagh tripped Evans from ringside, allowing Mysterio to attack from behind.
Mysterio controlled the action with strikes and a dropkick while McDonagh delivered another cheap shot behind the referee’s back.
Evans rallied with a windmill kick and springboard clothesline, but McDonagh again pulled him from the ring. Evans punched McDonagh and sent Mysterio crashing into the timekeeper’s area.
As Evans attempted to launch himself over the barricade, McDonagh stopped him with a running lariat. The referee called for the disqualification.
Winner: Je’Von Evans via disqualification
Mysterio and McDonagh continued attacking Evans until Joe Hendry ran in to make the save. Hendry dropped both Judgment Day members with a double clothesline and cleared the ring.
An exasperated Adam Pearce appeared and announced that he was restarting the action as a tag team match.

All four competitors brawled as soon as the bell rang. Evans threw McDonagh into the timekeeper’s area, while Hendry did the same to Mysterio.
Evans followed with his Over the Barricade dive, giving his team control. Hendry later delivered a neckbreaker and delayed vertical suplex before tagging Evans into the match.
The Judgment Day eventually isolated Evans. Mysterio attacked him from behind before knocking Hendry off the apron, while McDonagh entered and slowed Evans with a leg drop and snap suplex.
McDonagh placed Evans on the top turnbuckle, but Evans blocked a superplex and sent him crashing to the mat. Evans followed with Whisper in the Wind and reached Hendry for the hot tag.
Hendry ran through both opponents with clotheslines and fallaway slams, including a double fallaway slam. He then wiped out The Judgment Day with a running dive to the floor.
Back inside, Mysterio attempted the 619, but Hendry countered with the Hit Single. Evans pulled McDonagh from the apron, only to be driven face-first into the ring post.
McDonagh then headbutted Hendry behind the referee’s back, allowing Mysterio to connect with a frog splash for the victory.
Winners: The Judgment Day
Tessitore promoted WWE and Zuffa Boxing’s upcoming weekend in Las Vegas, which will include TripleMania 34 Night 1 and the Ryan Garcia vs. Conor Benn World Welterweight Championship fight.
Becky Lynch and Stephanie Vaquer Disagree Backstage
Cathy Kelley interviewed Becky Lynch about why she had helped Stephanie Vaquer the previous week.
Lynch denied helping Vaquer and accused Kelley of spreading rumors. Vaquer joined the conversation and asked why Lynch had intervened during another Judgment Day ambush.
Lynch said she merely saw an opportunity to attack The Judgment Day and took it. However, she added that if she were going to help someone, it would be a person capable of fighting off three opponents alone.
Becky admitted she would prefer to take the Women’s World Championship from Vaquer rather than Liv Morgan. Vaquer thanked her but insisted she did not require Lynch’s help.
Lynch replied that Vaquer owed her one, but Vaquer rejected the claim. Becky said Vaquer at least owed her respect as the greatest women’s wrestler of all time.
Lynch added that if Vaquer managed to win the championship, she expected the first opportunity against her. Vaquer said she had started trusting Becky before Lynch revealed her true intentions.
Vaquer told Lynch to stay away from her and said Becky did not deserve the Women’s World Championship because the title belonged with “La Primera.”

Paul Heyman Discusses Oba Femi vs. Bron Breakker
Cathy Kelley asked Paul Heyman for a prediction ahead of Oba Femi’s match against Bron Breakker at Sunday Night’s Main Event.
Heyman declined to offer a prediction or spoiler, saying the match involved two men who both needed to win and could not afford to lose.
He explained that victory would allow the winner to continue building momentum, while defeat could damage the loser’s mentality and public perception heading into the fall, Royal Rumble season and WrestleMania.
Heyman expressed respect for Femi after witnessing what he did to Brock Lesnar. He also praised Breakker as WWE’s hardest-working and hardest-hitting athlete, claiming Breakker stayed in the gym later and arrived earlier than everyone else.
Heyman concluded that Breakker would bring a fight Femi had never experienced, but admitted everyone would have to discover the outcome in real time.
Tessitore and Barrett then reviewed the card for Sunday Night’s Main Event. Quavo of Migos was announced for a live performance.
The Judgment Day Celebrate Their Victories
Liv Morgan congratulated Raquel Rodriguez on retaining the Women’s Intercontinental Championship and mocked Sol Ruca alongside the rest of The Judgment Day.
Morgan hugged Dominik Mysterio, who claimed Je’Von Evans would no longer be a problem. McDonagh added that Joe Hendry had received what he deserved for interfering in their business.
Roxanne Perez promised to support Morgan if Becky Lynch attempted to interfere in the group’s affairs. Morgan dismissed both Lynch and Stephanie Vaquer, insisting neither woman had remembered who controlled the division.
Morgan vowed to defeat Vaquer again the following week, retain the Women’s World Championship and remind everyone why she considered herself the greatest champion in the title’s history.
WWE confirmed that Morgan will defend against Vaquer on next week’s Raw from Birmingham, Alabama. The show will also feature qualifying matches for the 2026 men’s and women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Matches.
World Heavyweight Championship No. 1 Contender’s Tournament Final
PENTA vs. Rey Fenix
The brothers began with a respectful technical exchange before trading chops and counters. PENTA caught Rey Fenix with a spinning back kick, while Fenix countered a roundhouse kick into a sunset flip.
A leg-sweep exchange led to simultaneous kip-ups and a standoff. Fenix then increased the pace with a running hurricanrana and double-springboard hurricanrana.
PENTA sent Fenix to the floor with a dropkick and followed with a somersault plancha. He targeted Fenix’s legs after returning the action to the ring.
Fenix responded with a running enzuigiri, the Goodbye Amigo kick and a springboard tornillo to the floor. Back inside, PENTA countered a roll-through cutter with a superkick, but Fenix soon connected with a handspring cutter for a two-count.
The brothers traded a springboard Sling Blade, rebound spinning heel kick and multiple superkicks. PENTA followed with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker, but Fenix continued fighting.
Fenix landed an apron enzuigiri and double-springboard moonsault for a nearfall. PENTA answered with a pop-up powerbomb before climbing to the top rope.
PENTA attempted an avalanche Mexican Destroyer, but Fenix landed on his feet. Fenix delivered a diving enzuigiri and attempted the Mexican Muscle Buster, but PENTA escaped and hit the PENTA Driver for a two-count.
The fight moved to ringside, where PENTA cleared the announce table and drove Fenix through it with another PENTA Driver. PENTA carried his brother back into the ring, but Fenix kicked out again.
PENTA delivered The Sacrifice and attempted the Mexican Destroyer. Fenix countered into a hurricanrana for a close nearfall, but PENTA recovered and connected with the Mexican Destroyer to win the tournament.

PENTA embraced Fenix after the match and celebrated beneath a large pyro display.
