Backstage News On Rob Fee’s Current WWE Role And Creative Influence

Former Marvel Comics writer Rob Fee was hired by WWE in 2022 as the Director of Long-Term Creative and was promoted to Director of Character Development in 2024. Unlike many others on the WWE creative team, Fee frequently engages with the media, although he is primarily known within the wrestling press.

In the latest edition of Fightful Select Answers Q&A, Sean Ross Sapp shared updates about Fee’s recent activities. He reiterated Fee’s hiring and positions, noting that Fee has been involved in producing some content for Club WWE, though he did not specify which segments. Sapp also mentioned that Fee is well-liked among the talent, highlighting his creative contributions, including the White Rabbit QR codes for the Wyatt Sicks and the training segments featuring Nattie and Maxxine.

Recently, former WWE star Dexter Lumis revealed that Fee encouraged him to dramatically change his appearance to join the Wyatt Sicks, motivating him to get hair extensions and grow out his beard. Fee has also received praise from competitors, earning compliments from AEW star MJF, who is known for rarely saying nice things about anyone other than himself in public.
