WWE Intercontinental Champion Chad Gable faced his old rival Rey Fénix on this week’s episode of RaAW. Gable successfully defeated Fénix to retain his WWE Intercontinental Championship. Fénix later commented on his loss on his Twitter (X) account.
Fénix wrote, “It simply wasn’t my night. The best man was Chad. What is true is that I won’t give up. I would love to face Chad one more time, and I’m ready to play Championship vs. Championship. #ANIMO #MexaKing #YoSoyLucha”
Fénix currently holds the AAA World Cruiserweight Title and is feuding with Ricky Saints on SmackDown. Additionally, Fénix defeated Kit Wilson on this week’s edition of WWE Main Event.
