AEW Pulls Planned Match For Double Or Nothing

The main card of the AEW Double or Nothing event appears to be set, and the promotion typically makes pre-show match announcements during the Rampage broadcast.

With the exception of one that had been scheduled, pre-show bouts for Rampage appear to be continuing that trend.

The first Keith Lee vs. Swerve Strickland match was not going to take place at the show, as AEW previously announced. Following their loss of the Tag Team Titles and Swerve’s eventual turn against Lee, these two stars have been feuding.

Those plans were scrapped during the Rampage tapings as both men were involved in a brawl involving the Blackjack Battle Royal contestants who will be vying for Orange Cassidy’s International title.

Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez discussed the postponed match on Wrestling Observer Radio. Meltzer speculated that AEW might save it for London at All In.
