Fans have speculated about Vince McMahon’s role in WWE since his return as Chairman of the Board.
Nothing has changed in terms of how creative is run, and Triple H remains in charge of RAW and SmackDown. Ric Flair stated on his podcast that he did not see Vince backstage at RAW, despite hoping to. Hunter, Bruce Prichard, and William Regal held the Gorilla position.
Vince hasn’t returned backstage at TV tapings since his return, according to Dave Meltzer, and his work schedule has changed. Vince used to work all night and sometimes into the early morning, but these days he leaves work at a reasonable hour and his responsibilities have been reduced. Long creative meetings, which were previously reported on, are no longer a thing. Previously, creative meetings could last well into the night.
Of course, anything can happen at any time, but it appears that Vince has no plans to run RAW and SmackDown.
