AEW Star AR Fox was originally set to compete in a Coffin Match at the company’s All In London PPV Event this past Sunday from Wembley Stadium in London, England, where he was set to team with Swerve Strickland to face “The Icon” Sting and Darby Allin, but Fox was kicked out of the Mogul Embassy, pulled from the match and later replaced by Christian Cage.
There were speculations that Fox had backstage heat in AEW and that is the reason he was removed from the Coffin Match.
According to Fightful Select, Fox has not worked any international dates since 2016 and was not honest from the very beginning of his stint with AEW about his ability to work outside America. This is the reason why AR Fox was replaced by Cage.
It was also mentioned on the report that despite being well-liked in the company, Fox does have backstage heat in AEW due to the situation of him not wanting to work All In London, but the exact reason why Fox couldn’t work the big event in London has yet to be revealed.
