Backstage News On Why WWE Didn’t Book A Trick-Or-Treat Street Fight This Year

WWE had a few things that they needed to cover this week on RAW and SmackDown. The fact that it was so close to Halloween seemed to escape their minds.

Trick-or-Street fights have become an annual tradition in WWE, but that was broken this year. NXT gave tons of love to the holiday this week for Halloween Havoc, but the main roster did not.

The idea of holding a trick-or-street fight this year on the main roster shows simply wasn’t brought up, RingsideNews reports. As PWMania.com previously reported, this past week’s SmackDown had issues getting Vince McMahon’s approval on segments.

Last week’s RAW was simply too loaded for the Trick-or-Street fight and focused on building toward Survivor Series and it wasn’t even considered for SmackDown.

We also reported that Bruce Prichard was not backstage for SmackDown this past week. Triple H was around and assisted in a couple of big segments, but nobody with any major influence was pulling for a Trick-or-Street fight this year.
