WWE’s Money In The Bank pay-per-view is set for Saturday, July 1st, and it appears that their plans to push some wrestlers won’t change.
Ricochet and Shinsuke Nakamura have already qualified for the Men’s Money In The Bank match, and we’ll find out tonight whether LA Knight or Montez Ford will follow them.
According to WWE insider BoozerRasslin, LA Knight remains the favorite to win the Money In The Bank match. Although things could still change, Knight has been on the short list for a push after WrestleMania, and it still appears that this is taking place.
WWE management is extremely pleased with Knight’s work and has been responding positively to his performances on TV and at live events. In addition, Triple H has worked to transform him from the Max Dupri persona that was assigned to him when he first joined SmackDown back to his NXT persona.
Though things could still change, things are currently looking up for Knight. Knight’s future plans are unknown, but it appears that he may one day challenge for Roman Reigns’ Undisputed Universal Championship or Seth Rollins’ World Heavyweight Championship.
