Almost every fan predicted that The New Level would make their way to AEW, but their arrival was still a significant moment, met with great enthusiasm. Austin Creed and Kofi Kingston are now officially signed to AEW, and together with Swerve Strickland, they are the reigning AEW World Trios Champions. However, some fans have expressed criticism about the timing of their entrance in the trios match, suggesting it felt off.

In the latest edition of Fightful Select Answers Q&A, Sean Ross Sapp discussed the timing of The New Level’s entry in the match. He clarified that the plan was always for them to make their appearance after the hour. Once the rules were established, the goal was to engage viewers from the Buy In pre-show while ensuring The New Level’s big debut took place during the pay-per-view event.

During their time in WWE as The New Day, Kofi and Creed became one of the most successful tag teams in history. However, they parted ways with the company after TKO asked them to accept a pay cut of over 50 percent. The name “The New Level” signifies not only the next phase of their careers but also their enduring passion for video games and gaming imagery. Remarkably, they signed their AEW contracts less than 24 hours before their debut.
