As PWMania.com previously reported, WWE legend and TKO board member Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson took to his Instagram account and revealed that “The Scottish Warrior” Drew McIntyre has officially re-signed with the company and will be remaining with the company for the foreseeable future.
According to PWInsider.com, McIntyre is still banged up from the elbow injury he suffered in the U.K. tour and he will be taking some time off to recover from the hyperextended elbow injury, but there is no exact timetable for his return, although it is believed that he will not be out for long.
It was also noted on the report that McIntyre received a ton of praise for working through the injury as long as he has and there’s no word yet on how long McIntyre’s new deal is for, but Fightful Select notes that it is a multi-year deal for big money, which is very similar to a lot of the new contracts WWE has been giving out this year.
