PWMania.com previously reported that WWE veteran Kevin Owens participated in a house show on August 30 at the North Charleston Coliseum & Performing Arts Center in North Charleston, South Carolina, where he defeated The Miz in a singles match. Fan footage later emerged showing Owens limping and requiring assistance, raising concerns that he might have sustained another injury.
However, Dave Meltzer recently took to his Twitter (X) account to share that, according to information he received, Owens is “okay.”
Meltzer wrote, “Kevin Owens is okay from what we are told. No injury.”
Owens made his return to WWE at SummerSlam after being away for nearly 15 months due to recovery from neck surgery and a spinal cord injury. He has since positioned himself in the race for the Undisputed WWE Championship.
However, Sami Zayn has already interfered with Owens’ chances of winning the title from CM Punk. On August 21, Zayn disrupted a #1 Contender’s Match that could have given Owens an opportunity for a title shot. As of now, there are no reported injuries or absences related to Owens.
