A new match and a character reveal have been added to the line-up for WWE NXT’s post-Halloween Havoc edition on the USA Network on Tuesday.
SmackDown Superstar Shotzi will return to NXT this week to face Lash Legend.
On Saturday night, Shotzi hosted NXT Halloween Havoc with co-host Quincy Elliott, but they were interrupted by Legend, who was upset that a blue brand Superstar was hosting an NXT show when she was the better candidate. Elliott and Shotzi ended up insulting Legend until he warned them both. Shotzi went after Legend first, then finished her off with a DDT. To end the segment, Shotzi and Elliott stood over Legend and celebrated. The video is embedded below.
The Schism will also reveal the identity of their new fourth member on Tuesday’s NXT.
For the past few months, a mystery person wearing a yellow mask and a red hoodie has followed Joe Gacy and The Dyad around NXT, handing out smiley face buttons to various people in an attempt to spread the word of The Schism. Following last Tuesday’s loss to Cameron Grimes, Luke Gallows, and Karl Anderson, NXT Halloween Havoc featured a backstage promo from Gacy, Rip Fowler, and Jagger Reid. The Schism, who was standing nearby, lashed out at people who continued to spit in their faces. They warned that their message to this brand would now be delivered through force rather than will. The mystery person was declared to have opened their heart to The Schism and proven to be worthy, and they will now have their big moment on Tuesday night when they breathe in fresh air and remove their mask.
The Schism stated that they will demonstrate their full force to the world if they work together. They are not concerned with how society perceives them, while the rest of the world hides behind their masks of wealth, lies, and vanity, and now The Schism believes it is their responsibility to illuminate the people’s mistakes and shine a light on their hypocrisy. It was also stated that The Schism attempted a peaceful approach, but that whatever happens now is the responsibility of the people. They also stated that The Schism has four roots to one tree. As seen below, Gacy, Fowler, and Reid then put on their yellow masks to end the segment.
Fans have speculated that the new member of The Schism could be anyone from Nikki Cross to Sarray, or even a new NXT talent.
