Days after making her WrestleMania debut in a tag team match on night two of WWE WrestleMania 39, Chelsea Green is currently being treated in a hospital.
She was released from WWE in April 2021 after a disappointing first stint as a result of injuries, and the following two years she found success in Impact Wrestling and ROH. The 30-woman Royal Rumble match was her first appearance since leaving WWE, and she was eliminated in just five seconds.
Since then, she has frequently appeared on WWE television using the gimmick of demanding to speak with the manager, which has given rise to countless scenes starring Adam Pearce as a stern authority figure.
Green, who had her birthday this week, revealed on Twitter that she had been admitted to the hospital with a severe stomach bug and a swollen gallbladder.
She wrote, “I thought I celebrated my first Mania too hard … turns out I actually had a severe stomach bug & a distended gall bladder. (Thank god the manager of the ER took care of me. Will NOT be filing any complaints this weekend).”
We hope Green recovers quickly.
