In two weeks, the WWE Draft 2023 will begin.
The WWE Draft will kick off on Friday, April 28 during the live SmackDown from the American Bank Center in Corpus Christi, Texas. It will then conclude on Monday, May 1 during the live RAW from the Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, TX, which is also the RAW Backlash go-home edition.
During this week’s SmackDown, WWE also aired a new commercial for the 2023 Draft, which is embedded below in the fan tweet.
The video includes a recent quote from WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H, who stated that this year’s Draft will truly change the game, and while several Superstars are shown, no mention of WWE NXT is made. Due to WWE’s emphasis on every Superstar being eligible for a Draft pick, there has been some speculation about NXT being included in the Draft, but so far only RAW and SmackDown Superstars have been advertised.
