Dutch Mantell didn’t hold back in his latest episode of Story Time With Dutch Mantell, taking direct aim at WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair following a string of controversial social media posts from “The Nature Boy.”
Mantell responded harshly to a now-deleted tweet in which Flair accused Jim Ross of “attention seeking” after Ross provided an update on his cancer recovery.
“Why would he say that? Because he’s a dick. No kidding,” Mantell stated. “What difference does it make to Ric Flair? The man’s sick. He needs to shut up. He really does.”
When host James Romero noted Flair later claimed it was just a joke, Mantell wasn’t buying it and proceeded to take things further — questioning Flair’s intelligence.
“Let me ask you, what do you think Ric Flair’s IQ actually is? I would say between 80 and 90,” Mantell said. “He’s not the smartest student in the classroom. You’re not having a physics discussion with Ric Flair.”
He later lowered the estimate even further to “the 70s” while referencing a disturbing story shared by Jim Ross on Grilling JR, in which Flair allegedly exposed himself at a party hosted by Gary Juster’s wife — an act Mantell called “unforgivable” and “embarrassing.”
The conversation then shifted to another Flair post — an image of a fake sexual “contract” titled The Wooooo Compromise, which detailed supposed terms for “riding Space Mountain” and referenced Flair’s “respect for women.”
“He’s nuts,” Mantell commented bluntly. “I bet he did have some signatures on that thing, you know, they went ahead with the joke.”
Romero highlighted the troubling irony, given past allegations of misconduct against Flair — including the widely covered “Plane Ride From Hell” incident featured on Dark Side of the Ring. Mantell agreed, concluding:
“He does himself no favors. He really doesn’t.”
As Flair continues to draw headlines for his off-screen antics, Mantell’s comments reflect a growing wave of criticism from within the wrestling world itself.
