EC3 is recovering after being hospitalized due to an infection in his leg.

The former TNA World Champion took to social media to reveal the situation, explaining that the infection developed following a recent trip to a Gathering, where he apparently picked up an unwanted souvenir while spending time in the woods. “Went to a Gathering,” EC3 wrote. “The woods gave me a souvenir. Leg got infected. Hospital acquired.”

EC3 explained that he initially sought treatment for the issue last week but was sent home. After his condition persisted, he returned five days later and was ultimately admitted to the hospital. “Well, I tried to acquire it last week and they said no and I said you sure? Then they said yes and 5 days later I said still sure and they said naaa. I’m fine. Please spare anyone close to me the questions. Specifically Noah. They don’t know when I’ll be back. Neither do I.”

While there is currently no timetable for when he will be able to return, EC3 assured fans that he is doing fine. He also asked people not to contact him or those close to him with questions about the situation, instead encouraging supporters to send their well wishes from afar.

“Thank you for the well wishes in advances. Send them through vibes and not texts please. Until then, I’ll be scribbling manifestos, reading ‘books’ and watching Nolan movies.”

EC3 did not provide any additional details regarding the severity of the infection or how long he is expected to remain sidelined.

For now, his focus remains on recovering, with his eventual return dependent on how his condition progresses.
