According to PWInsider.com, ECW legend Mikey Whipwreck, who lives in the area where Friday night’s episode of WWE SmackDown was held, was backstage at the show as he was visiting friends and former colleagues.
Whipwreck competed in ECW from 1993 until the company closed in 2001. During his time there, he held the ECW TV Championship, the ECW Tag Team Championships, and the ECW World Heavyweight Championship. He also had a brief stint with WCW in 1999.
