For the Love of Wrestling II is coming to Liverpool in October 2020

The largest dedicated Wrestling Convention in Europe, For the Love of Wrestling II, is scheduled to take place at the Exhibition Centre Liverpool on the Halloween weekend 2020. An unusual date, very late in the season, as compared to the first edition that took place on the weekend of the 28th and 29th of April 2019. FTLOW III has been announced on June 15th, a year in advance, for the weekend of June 26th and 27th 2021. This season is obviously suffering the consequences of the pandemics. Sporting events that can be enjoyed online fared better, as you can find out on mybettingsites.co.uk, that provides several opportunities for sports fans even in these troubled times. Shows allowing for the presence of a live audience, on the other hand, will take some time to go back to normal.

Live events have suffered from massive cancellations in the UK. The most recent disappointment came from WWE NXT UK, when they announced that the tapings scheduled for Friday, July 24th and Saturday, July 25th at the Braehead Arena in Glasgow, Scotland had been cancelled. The official notification from the arena was released on June 10th, with a warning that ticketholders would be contacted shortly for refunds. A real blow for fans, after nearly five months of suspension of public sporting gatherings. The last NXT UK events were the Coventry tapings in early March, that should have been an appetizer for the NXT UK “Takeover: Dublin” event on April 26th. Owing to security measures dictated by the pandemic, the show had to be postponed to Sunday, October 25th

So British fans of live PW shows are hungrier than ever for any sort of live wrestling events, which is why expectations for the FTLOWII lineup are running high. Guests announced so far include Shawn Michaels, Kurt Angle, Bill Golberg, JBL, Jeff Hardy, Brutus Beefcake, Marty Jannetty, The Big Show, Kenny Omega, Trish Stratus, Torrie Wilson, Bully Ray, Devon, Tatanka, Candice Michelle, Lanny Poffo, Madusa fka Alundra Blayze, Ted DiBiase, Mike Rotunda, Ted DiBiase Jr., Earl Hebner, Lilian Garcia, Victoria, Scott Levy aka Raven, Scott Steiner, Rick Steiner, Fred Ottman, The Nasty Boys, Barry Darsow and Bill Eadie with more to be announced.

The organizer, Monopoly Events, is already selling tickets online on the FTLOW dedicated website.

They are promising all wrestling fanatics to provide exclusive guests and attractions. Updates on the programme and bookings of photo ops and autographs with wrestling tar will also be available online. The first edition of the convention in 2019 featured some exclusive guest appearances, like The Undertaker in his first appearance outside of the professional wrestling circuit. Other attractions were Hall of Famers, Ric Flair, Bret “The Hitman” Hart, Ted DiBiase, Sid Vicious. FTLOW I was not the only wrestling convention in the UK in 2019, but it was the one that managed to bring some big names to the British fans, who loved the opportunity to meet them in person.

The Monopoly Team is now promising to deliver even more exclusive experiences, while alerting fans to follow their Facebook and twitter updates: “You ain’t seen nothing yet!”
