Former NXT UK star Dan Moloney is the newest member of the NJPW faction United Empire which is lead by Will Ospreay.
At the RevPro Revolution Rumble on March 26, Moloney defeated United Empire member Francesco Akira. Following the match, Will Ospreay and Akira left a United Empire armband in the ring for Moloney. Moloney took the armband which signified his acceptance to their invitation to join the faction.
Will Ospreay commented on the newest member of United Empire on social media.
Dan Moloney is a guy that was fired from NXT:U.K. back in 2019.
The work ethic he put in after, throughout the pandemic, when the crowd returned & now is a real testament to the man he is.
Never took shortcuts, he showed up and grafted in a scene pronounced DOA.

United Empire now consists of Will Ospreay, Francesco Akira, TJP, Jeff Cobb, Great-O-Khan, Kyle Fletcher, Mark Davis, Gideon Grey, Aaron Henare and Dan Moloney.
Moloney was part of the NXT UK roster from 2017 until 2021. He has wrestled for numerous promotions including PROGRESS and RevPro.
