The upcoming NJPW Dominion pay-per-view will feature four major title matches.
Dominion will feature IWGP World Heavyweight Champion SANADA defending his title against Yota Tsuji. This will be SANADA’s second title defense since capturing it from Kazuchika Okada at Sakura Genesis on April 8, as he retained his title over Hiromu Takahashi at Wrestling Dontaku on Wednesday. Tsuji returned to NJPW at Wrestling Dontaku to attack SANADA and the rest of the Just Five Guys stable, implying his affiliation with Los Ingobernables de Japón.
David Finlay, the new NEVER Openweight Champion, will also defend his title against El Phantasmo at Dominion. On Wednesday, Finlay defeated Tama Tonga to win the title at Wrestling Dontaku, but he was then attacked by ELP.
Aussie Open, the NJPW Strong Openweight Tag Team Champions, will defend their IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Titles in a Three-Way at Dominion against Bishamon’s Hirooki Goto and YOSHI-HASHI, and House of Torture’s EVIL and Yujiro Takahashi.
A Wrestling Dontaku rematch between NJPW World Television Champion Zack Sabre Jr. and Jeff Cobb has also been announced for Dominion. Their Wednesday match ended in a time-limit draw.
NJPW Dominion will take place from Osaka-j Hall in Osaka, Japan on Sunday, June 4th. The match will be broadcast live on NJPW World.
