NJPW has announced eight matches for the New Japan Cup 2023 Finals, which will take place on Tuesday, March 21 at Niigata’s Ao-re Nagaoka Arena. It will be broadcast live on NJPW World.
The event will feature SANADA vs. David Finlay in the finals of the 2023 New Japan Cup Tournament, with the winner going on to face IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Kazuchika Okada on Saturday, April 8 at Sumo Arena in Tokyo, Japan.
Hiromu Takahashi will defend his IWGP Junior Heavyweight title against Lio Rush in the night’s co-main event. Okada will also compete on Tuesday alongside CHAOS stablemates and IWGP Tag Team Champions Yoshi-Hashi and Hirooki Goto against United Empire’s Jeff Cobb, Mark Davis, and Kyle Fletcher.
