Top indie star Zilla Fatu made his WWE debut during Tuesday’s NXT episode by attacking Cruz Montana and Grayson Waller during their match to determine the #1 contender for the WWE NXT Championship. After the attack, Zilla pointed at the NXT Champion, Tony D’Angelo, who was at the commentary table, and declared that he was coming for the title.
Following the show, Waller took to his Twitter (X) account to comment on Zilla’s debut.
Waller wrote, “Just what WWE needs, another overrated Uce”
Zilla Fatu is part of the Anoa’i wrestling family and is the son of Umaga. Waller made his return to WWE NXT on the July 28 episode and immediately called out the men’s division, clearly stating his intention to pursue the NXT Championship.
