Injury Update On Alex Hammerstone, Latest On A Possible Live MLW PPV Event

Alex Hammerstone reportedly suffered an injury at the MLW War Chamber taping on April 8th.

According to PWInsider.com, Hammerstone was hurt during the show but was not serious. It may have been a pulled groin, and he is not expected to miss any time. The MLW World Champion did work a short match two nights later. The match was against Mr. Thomas from the Bomaye Fight Club at the Battle Riot V tapings in Philadelphia.

The report also noted that MLW is in discussions about potential partners for a live PPV this summer.

Sources in the company believe that they will get a deal done and have a live show scheduled in the next three to four months.

A new event has also been announced by MLW, and tickets will be going on sale on April 21st at 10:00am EST. MLW Never Say Never will take place on July 8th at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, but no word on whether this is the live PPV event that MLW is aiming for. It is currently being advertised as a TV Taping.
