As PWMania.com previously reported, WWE Hall of Famer Jerry “The King” Lawler’s contract with the WWE has expired, and he is no longer with the company.
WWE has stated that Lawler is still under a Legends deal, so he is not really gone. It was also stated that Lawler’s broadcasting contract expired since he was a commentator for several years and was occasionally used on PLE’s pre-show panel.
Lawler’s most recent WWE appearance was during a memorable episode of RAW in his hometown of Memphis last year. Before that, he graced the WWE Hall of Fame induction ceremony, a prestigious event, during the year Andy Kaufman was honored.
