Jon Moxley, who is still the IWGP United States Champion but hasn’t been able to travel to Japan due to the Covid-19 pandemic, cut a promo at NJPW’s Wrestle Kingdom 15 event:
“Many men have vied for that US title contract. They all thought they would get off easy. They all hoped and prayed that the United States Heavyweight Champion would never return. But I am the boogeyman and New Japan Pro Wrestling, I will get you eventually.”
“So, whoever walks out of the Tokyo Dome with that contract, make no mistake about it. I’m comin’ for ya.” (quotes courtesy of SEScoops.com)
KENTA (formerly Hideo Itami in WWE) won his match at WK and currently holds the contract to receive a match against Moxley at some point.
